Within easy walking distance of all the cafe's, foodie shops, deli and lifestyle shops dotted around the village green and only a short drive to the sandy beaches at Brancaster, Wells-next-the-Sea and Holkham, this is a great place relax and unwind. With parking for up to three cars behind high gates within the grounds, chill out in the beautifully sunny and enclosed walled garden throughout the year; or snuggle up in front of the fire during the winter. **Please note that this property can also be booked as a sleep 4 option available between October and March, excluding school holidays** Inside Fresh and spacious, with chic French style furnishings and all the mod cons, this light and spacious village property is the perfect base for a stylish Norfolk holiday with all the family or weekend away with friends. Living Areas Finished to a very high standard, the house opens into a large entrance hall with a writing bureau and a centrally positioned table with 4 chairs where you can sit and read, or plan your day, before pulling on your boots or flip flops and heading out! Off the spacious hallway you’ll discover the sitting room with impressive, vaulted ceiling and painted white beams making this a light and bright place to relax. Chill-out on the comfy sofas or armchairs in front of the Smart TV with Sky and BT Sports or play games to while away precious down time spent with friends and family. On a winter’s evening, snuggle down, light the wood burning stove and enjoy good conversation. The beautiful kitchen/diner/family room is a great space for coming together for celebrations or just spending quality time together. The farmhouse style kitchen is fully equipped with all the mod cons including a large cooker with hob, integrated fridge freezer, integrated dishwasher, a double sink, kettle, and toaster. The large dining table which seats up to 12 guests is perfect for enjoying fabulous family suppers. The separate relaxed seating area is a great place to have pre-dinner drinks and there are doors leading out onto the lovely, enclosed garden which catches the sun all day. Just off the kitchen/diner is a separate utility room where you will find a washing machine, tumble dryer and microwave. Bedrooms and bathrooms Bedroom 1 Located on the ground floor, just off the spacious entrance hall, there is a twin room with two full size single beds and a large freestanding chest of drawers. This room is serviced by the ground floor shower room just along the hall, with a large rainfall shower, WC, hand basin, and heated towel radiator. Bedroom 2 The first floor master bedroom is very large with plenty of wardrobe space and features a four-posted king size bed, a freestanding chest of drawers, relaxed seating and an en suite bathroom with separate bath and shower, WC, and hand basin. Bedroom 3 Set on the first floor this lovely light room is decorated in dusky blush and features a double bed, a built-in wardrobe and relaxed seating. This room is serviced by the family bathroom. Family bathroom Servicing bedrooms 3 and 4, this bathroom is equipped with a bath, separate shower, hand basin and WC. Bedroom 4 This twin room is located on the first floor with two full size single beds, relaxed seating and built-in wardrobes. Outside Head out of the front gates and take a leisurely stroll around the corner into the centre of Burnham Market where you can browse the numerous boutique and foodie shops. If you fancy a more relaxed day at St George’s, catch the sun’s rays on the terrace or prepare a meal outside on the BBQ and enjoy dining al fresco in the enclosed garden. With so much local produce to browse and buy just a short walk away, including fresh bread, fish, meat and vegetables in the quaint village shops, you’ll be spoilt for choice on what to cook! Don’t forget to try local crab, lobster, sea bass, samphire and mussels. The house is blessed with having house martins that frequently return year on year to breed in their nests just below the eves of the roof. It’s a joy to watch them twist and turn in the sky above the garden on a sunny afternoon. There is off-road parking for up to 3 cars on the gravel drive, which can be securely enclosed within the garden behind the large gates.
