Dream Suite with private Beach.

The Amazing Villa is a beautiful summer house, set in spectacular natural surroundings. It's a place to chill out, to recharge and to get inspired, far away from the daily grind and noise. A place you can call home. The Amazing Villa sits on a very large property with 2 km of private coastline. The mountains in the background - covered in virgin rain forest - form a spectacular backdrop. Parts of our land include a pristine river, breathtaking cliffs (accessible via steps) and even a waterfall. The space The Ylang-Ylang Suite is our most impressive room at the Amazing Villa. It occupies an entire building (stand alone). And yes, for those in the know, it served as the recording studio for the Ylang-Ylang album (named after the suite) by multi instrumentalist FKJ. The Ylang-Ylang suite is exceptionally spacious. It has a very large bedroom with king sized bed made of the finest ebony wood. The bedroom has spectacular views of the South China Sea (sunsets !) and the rain forest, a beautiful bathroom with bathtub designed for two and a private dining room (table seats six) with kitchen on the ground floor. The Ylang-Ylang suite is built using the finest tropical hardwoods (flooring, walls, furniture) and has floor to ceiling windows (screened) for unrestricted views and enjoyment of the ocean air. We have built several private hideaways around the house, where you can enjoy the view and the sea breeze with a book, a cocktail or a cup of tea. Or just have a lazy afternoon nap in a hammock. Other amenities of the house include a cocktail bar, a yoga platform/view deck and an outdoor kitchen. We are leading a comfortable yet low impact life style. We produce our own veggies and meat, make our own virgin coconut oil, natural bug repellents, yoghurt and chocolate. We cook using only the freshest ingredients straight from our garden. We avoid chemical additives and processed foods. We have some live stock to tend to as well (cows, goats, water buffaloes, chickens). At the Amazing Villa we like to eat fresh and healthy foods, so we have a large garden with vegetables, herbs and spices. We also keep chickens (free range) for eggs and meat. Freshly caught fish can be had daily from a nearby fisherman's village. We hope our cats and dogs will make you feel at home the moment you arrive. During the daytime you will most likely be enjoying the surroundings and the beach. At night you will fall asleep, soothed by the sounds of the waves and the rain forest. The house comes with a beach janitor (for cleaning of the beach and its surroundings), a maintenance man and a cleaning lady. You are welcome to do your own cooking, using our facilities (we cook on wood fire), but you may have to bring most of your ingredients from Puerto. The small shops near the Villa offer only basic things. If you wish, the hosts can also cook for you. We offer a gastronomic meal plan (minimum of 4 pax, including other guests, advanced reservation required). Theresa is very talented and highly passionate about cooking. She does wonders with all our garden fresh ingredients. Her cooking has been featured in two national newspapers as well as on local TV. Our meal plan is usually the highlight of a stay at the Villa. Theresa's unique flavors continue to impress the most discerning palates from around the globe. During your stay if you avail of our meal plan, my husband Gilles and I will be at the Villa 24/7 to cook and care for you. We love to interact with our guests, either before and after meals or in the evenings over some cocktails or some cold beers in our open air bar. We may also take you on excursions to parts of our land with exceptional views and natural beauty. We believe that this interaction and personal approach is part of the success of the Amazing Villa. We like to share with our guests our love for the Philippines and for the people of Palawan in particular. However, if you prefer to have absolute privacy, or like to do your own cooking, that is fine as well. We will probably meet you for a welcome drink, show you around and make sure you are settled in, after which we leave you in the capable hands of our staff. Other things to note We are an off the grid eco destination. There is no cellphone signal at the Villa. We offer fast internet via Starlink (thank you Elon)*. Water comes from a mountain spring. Electricity comes from two generators. These run from approximately 6 pm to 6 am. We are working on going full solar (at which point electricity may be 24/7) but for now these are the restrictions. * the Wi-Fi signal is very strong in the bar area and the lounge area. Ylang-Ylang suite has a signal on the ground floor (dining area) but not on the second floor (bedroom area).
