Home is where the heart is and there’s a lot of heart at Haven. Located in the scenic hills of Highland County Virginia and connected to hundreds of acres, this quiet one level retreat sleeps 8 with 3 bedrooms and two full baths. Our neighboring farm is home to a nice variety of animals. Enjoy beautiful views from the deck and take in the sunrise with your morning coffee or be captivated by thousands of stars at night. The space Your stay at Haven includes: Baseboard heat Air conditioning Ceiling fans Fully stocked kitchen Full-sized fridge, dishwasher, oven/ stove, microwave Keurig coffee brewer with K-cups Standard coffee brewer with coffee and paper filters Toaster Sheets and pillows, towels and washcloths Television for DVD player and assorted DVD movies Books, games and puzzles Land line telephone for local and toll-free calls only Verizon cell service through a network extender Internet connection speed suitable for streaming movies, browsing the web and taking voice-calls In-house laundry facilities available (if requested) for a 4 night or longer stay Outdoor fire pit (firewood provided for a small fee after initial complimentary bundle) Fresh mountain air ;-) Other things to note In-house cell service is exclusively Verizon (CDMA Network) through a network extender. Although Verizon service is great in downtown Monterey, we don’t know what other carriers work there.
