Nestled in the charming village of Colledimezzo in Abruzzo, Italy, this house boasts stunning views of Lake Bomba and the Maiella Mountain. With its original stone walls, terra cotta and tile floors, and high ceilings, the house exudes old-world charm while offering modern comfort. The fully equipped kitchen and three bedrooms with comfortable beds provide everything needed for an enjoyable stay. The outdoor terrace is perfect for soaking up the sun and enjoying al fresco meals. The space As soon as you enter the house, you'll be captivated by its character and warmth. The spacious living room is decorated with cozy furniture and features a 65” TV, large sectional, perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring. We often let the pictures speak for themselves. It’s hard to put the wondrous grandeur of our surroundings into words. We’re one of the few houses that have heating and air conditioning in every room! BEDROOMS: The house has three bedrooms, each with its own unique style and personality. The master bedroom boasts a king-size bed with a dedicated work space (although it may be hard to focus with that view), while the other two bedrooms have queen-size beds and two additional trundles. Two rooms have Juliet balconies that offer sweeping panoramic views of the lake and mountains. The third bedroom has beautiful views of the courtyard. All the rooms are designed with comfort and relaxation in mind, ensuring a good night's sleep. KITCHEN: The fully equipped kitchen is a chef's dream, with modern appliances and all the tools you'll need to prepare delicious meals to dine al fresco with panoramic views. A brand new kitchen with an induction stove and oven have been installed! There is direct access to the terrace where you can enjoy the beautiful views while sipping your morning espresso! The dining area seats six to eight and the terrace has ample seating. Try not to get too distracted by the view while you’re cooking! *The fireplace in the kitchen is decorative and is non-functional. Please do not attempt to start a fire. OUTDOOR SPACE: The real highlight of our property is the outdoor space. The spacious terrace boasts unparalleled views of the surrounding landscape, making it an ideal spot for outdoor dining, sunbathing or simply taking in the scenery. The terrace provides stunning views of the Maiella Mountain and Lake Bomba, a breathtaking sight that will leave you in awe. You can enjoy your meals al fresco, sunbathe, or simply bask in the beauty of the surrounding landscape. There are also many outdoor activities to enjoy, such as hiking, biking, and swimming in the lake. Our house is conveniently located near many popular attractions, including charming villages, historic landmarks, and natural wonders. There are also plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities, such as hiking, fishing, beach clubs and of course – eating delicious Italian food! We are located about 2.5-3 hours away from Rome by car but there is a local airport in Pescara that is about a 45 minute drive away. Regional flights from European cities can fly into Pescara and rent a car. We are conveniently located two hours away from the Amalfi Coast and only 25 minutes away from Lanciano – a bigger city with superstores and shopping malls. Ferries to Croatia and Albania are only an hour away! We are located close to the coast of the Adriatic Sea so beaches and beach clubs are only 25-30 minutes away! Abruzzo's ski resorts are set amidst stunning natural scenery, with breathtaking mountain views and picturesque snow-covered landscapes. Guest access There is ample free parking as you approach the main piazza. The house is located a few short minutes away. There is a direct path to our house from the main piazza with stairs and a central ramp, however, this ramp may be too steep of an incline for wheelchair access so please be cautious. The keys are accessed via lockbox and we have an easy and seamless self check-in process. *The units throughout the entire house provide both air conditioning and heating. However, all doors and windows must be closed when in use!
