Here, we grow seasonal organic vegetables while respecting the soil, nature, and natural cycles. Staying with us means choosing a more responsible form of tourism, rooted in small-scale farming and values of sharing, simplicity, and respect for the environment. La Ferme de l’Oasis is also a human story. Former professionals from the Paris region, we chose to change careers to bring more meaning to our daily lives, to create a living place, and to share a different way of producing, welcoming, and living. This transition now fuels our commitment to organic, local, and accessible agriculture, as well as to a simple, warm, and authentic welcome. Located in the Montagnes du Matin, just 1 hour from Lyon, Saint-Étienne, and Clermont-Ferrand, and only 5 minutes from the motorway exit, the farm offers a peaceful, natural setting that is easy to reach. 🏡 A spacious and welcoming gîte The 160 m² gîte can accommodate up to 14 guests. It combines the charm of old stone with modern comfort and is perfectly suited for stays with family, friends, or group gatherings. You will enjoy: a large, bright living area a terrace with panoramic views over the Montagnes du Soir, the Pilat range, the Monts de la Madeleine, and the Forez plain a natural environment ideal for rest, walks, and outdoor activities All household linen is provided (bed linen, towels, tea towels). On arrival, you will also find breakfast essentials (coffee, tea, hot chocolate, crispbreads, jams) as well as basic cooking supplies (salt, pepper, oil). 🌾 A teaching and discovery farm La Ferme de l’Oasis is certified “Educational and Discovery Farm – Bienvenue à la ferme” since March 2025. We are keen to share our work, our practices, and our values around organic farming and sustainable food.
