Description
Heathcote is an 1870 Italianate home built by Captain George Crawford . This home is ideally located in the quiet residential neighborhood called 'the hill' , but is steps from the main street of Saugatuck. The view from the beautiful backyard overlooks the park, tennis court , and basketball court below, and looks across the Kalamazoo River to Mt. Baldhead . Known as the house with the porch , Heathcote has a beautiful front porch complete with table and chairs off the kitchen for your morning coffee, and an incredible screened in porch for cocktails, eating, reading , or just relaxing . Heathcote has two bedrooms upstairs, one with a queen bed and one with two twin beds. These bedrooms share a full , modern bath with original claw foot tub and walk in shower. Off the kitchen is an additional bedroom know as the bunky , with a queen bed and detached bath with shower. This section of the house is cottage quirky ( but most guests love it ) . This bedroom is not for small children because it is far from the master . The living room, dining room and kitchen are modern. Heathcote's porches and yard are great for summer enjoyment. There is even a separate beer fridge ! Great location for kids with the tennis court , basketball court , and park steps away. Keywords: House
