Right in the centre of Bastide Saint Louis, your flat is ideally located for easy access on foot to all the strategic points of Carcassonne: - 2 minutes from Place Carnot, with its bars, restaurants and entertainment ; - 2 minutes from the Halles de Carcassonne covered market; - 5 minutes from the SNCF train station; - 10 minutes from the Pont Vieux, the gateway to the Cité de Carcassonne. The space Welcome to your cocoon! Your flat, completely renovated in 2024, comprises three large bedrooms directly accessible from the living room. In the living room, two sofas await you to relax on after your visits to the Bastide or the Cité. On the big-screen smart TV (130cm), which gives you access to all the DTT channels, you can also use your codes to connect to your platforms. The kitchen, which opens onto the living room, is fully equipped: hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher... as well as a toaster, electric citrus press, coffee machine... and even a raclette machine for those winter evenings! You can enjoy the fresh air from the balcony off the living room and kitchen. The rooms offer top-quality hotel bedding to help you recover from your excursions: - bedroom 1: King size bed 180cm ; - bedroom 2: Queen size bed 160cm, - bedroom 3: 140cm double bed. The bathroom, with Italian shower, was completely redone in travertine in 2024. A washing machine is available in the flat to freshen up your outfits before new adventures! Guest access The flat is in the building on the corner of rue de la République and rue Albert Thomey. If you are coming by car, you can find parking spaces in rue de la République, but we advise you to leave your car in the large car park at the end of the street (parking du boulevard de Varsovie). If you're arriving by train, take rue Gorges Clémenceau (just opposite the station) as far as rue Albert Thomey, then turn right into rue Albert Thomey as far as the corner with rue de la République (you've arrived!). If you are arriving from Carcassonne airport, there are 2 options: - a taxi rank is located in front of the terminal. Expect to pay between €10 and €15 to reach the flat in 5 to 10 minutes. - a shuttle bus leaves the airport 45 minutes after each plane lands. It costs 6 euros per person (free for children under 5) and takes 25 minutes to get to Carcassonne SNCF station (then walk to the end of the journey, following the instructions in the "If you arrive by train" section). - Bus line 405 also takes you to Carcassonne SNCF station, in around 16 minutes. It costs 2 to 3 euros per person (after which you can finish on foot, following the instructions given in the paragraph entitled "If you arrive by train"). Other things to note Sheets, linen and towels are provided free of charge, and there is a washing machine in the flat. Thanks to its key box, your flat is accessible at all times and allows independent late arrivals.
