Hazel House on the Mississippi

Keep it simple at this peaceful cabin in the woods; located on a backwater bay of the great Mississippi River. Located just 10-20 minutes from everything, it's a perfect getaway for an outdoorsy couple or small family. With unbelievable sunsets & the best swimming hole for miles, you won't ever need to leave this ultra-private oasis. Available any time of the year. Be sure to bring your boat, you wouldn't want to miss exploring the river for 20+ miles. The space We are located pretty far back in the woods, with a mile long private driveway. We actually live on the property too. We are in the main house and the guest cabin is about 200 yards away, with its own little driveway and everything. The guest house is open. Key should be in the door. Please only lock the dead bolt when leaving. Both the main house and the guest house are on the water. We each have our own dock, but for now, we ask you to use our dock instead of the one at the guest cabin, as it’s still under construction. Other things to note At the Guest Cabin - We do have a nice concrete patio with a table and chairs and a sun umbrella. We do have a full kitchen, an outdoor grill & charcoal for you to use. We’ve already got firewood chopped & ready. There are basic condiments and spices available- for you guys to use-I.e. ketchup, salt, pepper, garlic, onion powder, chili powder, etc. We also have soaps and other full size toiletries already stocked and available to use, for anyone that either forgot something or would rather not pack these general items. Also- there is an Ice Maker in the fridge, a medium-size cooler for you to use while you’re here, if you guys ever want to pack lunches for your days out and about. We also have a standard size washing machine & a clothing dryer (and soap to go along with it) free of charge.
