Serenity and simplicity will reach your hearts The space Casa 1000fiori is an old farmhouse recently renovated by the owner, the architect Stefano Ceresa (Ceresaarchitetti), a contemporary interpretation of the combination of local craftsmanship, local materials and knowledge handed down. The property is on two levels with large windows overlooking the lake and the surrounding landscape. It includes a living area with open kitchen and living room, a double bedroom with the possibility of adding a cot on request for a fee (for children up to 2 years), a bathroom with shower and a furnished terrace with a wonderful lake view. Casa 1000fiori is "daughter" of the manor house "Ca di Avicc" (House of bees) where Stefano and Gloria with their sons Romeo and Lucio live daily with the passion for bee breeding handed down over the years from father to son. Hence the name 1000fiori, like the honey that, with grandfather Raffaele, they produce with joy and love. Precisely for this reason inside the house you will find all the honey bath products and you will be delighted with delicious gifts. Guest access Guests can enjoy the entire property in peace and privacy. The accommodation can NOT be reached directly by car except with a small off-road vehicle but you can easily arrive on foot with a pleasant walk of 2-3 minutes through the streets of the ancient village. This is precisely what makes this property so unique and special, because it is located in the middle of nature, away from the hustle and bustle of the city: you will be surprised by the intensity of the glow of the stars on the clearest nights. Check-in and check-out transfers are then offered by the owners with their private car. Available in the immediate vicinity a private outdoor parking for a fee on the main road. Palanzo can be reached by car along the Provincial Lariana from Como for about 20 minutes. Also from Como you can take the bus C31 that leads directly to Palanzo and vice versa. Other things to note In the village of Palanzo there are currently NO bars, restaurants or grocery stores but in summer a structure will open that will give all these services. However, it deserves a mention the "HOME RESTAURANT PALANZO" where Iaia and Christian will welcome you in the tavern of their home, an environment that has the typical flavor of the houses of the past with dishes that vary according to the seasonality with the famous polenta made on the fireplace. The nearest grocery stores are located in Lemna and Molina, two hamlets always within the municipality of Faggeto Lario reachable by car or with a nice walk along the provincial road. Also here you can find typical bars and restaurants. In the hamlet of Riva there are other restaurants and the lido MIAMILARYO with equipped beach as well as an excellent service (on reservation) of boat rental and equipment for water sports. Faggeto Lario also has a pier for ferries and public boats that offer the opportunity to experience an unforgettable tour on the most popular lake of the moment and to visit the pearl of the lake: Bellagio. The neighboring municipality of Torno offers all the primary services such as market, bars, restaurants, pharmacy, bank with ATM, petrol station and ferry and boat service available about every half hour. Of note in the nearby town of Pognana Lario a fantastic butcher shop stocked with every kind of food. Possibility to rent electric bicycles at another structure in Palanzo.
