Cosy 2 bed converted loft in beautiful Somerset.

Relax in the heart of the Mendips. Right on the doorstep of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Draycott is a peaceful village with great access to wonderful countryside with walks and cycle routes. We are close by to Cheddar and Wells and lots of attractions and activities in the wider area. The space This is a cosy, 2 bed flat. The first bedroom has a double bed, the second has a pair of bunk beds (standard singles). There is a toilet/shower room and kitchenette / lounge / diner. This is a No Smoking property. Including Vapes or similar. Please consume all such products away from the building. The kitchenette has an oven, a 2 ring induction hob and a microwave. Toaster and kettle. There is an under-counter fridge - it does NOT have an ice box compartment (if you really need to freeze something then let us know and we can put it in the house). There is a BBQ available in the garden. Please let us know in advance if you want to use it so we can make sure it is ready. If you aren't able to pick up any charcoal locally then we usually have a bag or two that we are able to sell but no guarentees. Bed 1 has a double bed, set of drawers and a wardrobe. Bed 2 has 2 single bunk buds and a set of drawers. These are both standard single-bed size. All linen is provided along with a couple of towels and wash cloth. The lounge has TV, board games, table and chairs and sofas. There is parking on the drive for 1 guest car. If you are arriving in more then one vehicle you may have to go and find a space nearby, down a side road. EV Charger is available from our neighbour. They will charge £10 for an overnight charge. I don't know its specifications, if you require a certain type then I am happy to ask them. Guest access The rear of the property looks onto a shared courtyard / garden. This space has a BBQ and fire pit for use by arrangement. Also doubles as a storage space for bikes or other equipment you might bring with you. We have a washing machine and dryer which you are welcome to use by arrangement and a small fee, please come and ask us first. We will not take items completely caked in mud - but that doesn't stop you from using the hose first. Other things to note There is a small village shop just down the road which has bread, eggs and milk and a few other things. Nearest supermarkets are a Tesco local in Cheddar or a slightly larger Sainsbury's. For bigger shops you're looking at a trip to Wells which has Lidl, Tesco, Morrison's, Waitrose. We have pets in and around the home. The cats might come and say hello so let us know if you're allergic and we'll do our best to keep them away. If you're likely to go for a walkabout after dark then we recommend bringing a torch as there is limited street lighting here.
