A ROMANTIC STAY WITH TWO, A FAMILY VACATION WITH CHILDREN OR A COZY GET-TOGETHER WITH FRIENDS, THE CHALET IS IDEAL FOR IT! Here you can relax, take beautiful walks and bike rides in the vast, Ardennes nature and yet stay in close proximity to the many gastronomic addresses in the picturesque Durbuy! It is also the perfect base for exploring the Belgian Ardennes! ♥ CHRISTMAS MARKET DURBUY: 11/21 to 01/05. Really beautiful to see!!! ♥ The space The vacation home, located on the small-scale forest park "Sunclass" in Durbuy, is on the outside of the park WITH A VIEW OF THE FOREST AND THE VALLEY, so PEACE AND QUIET IS GUARANTEED! A picturesque hiking trail along the Ourthe river, which starts close to the chalet, takes you to the lively and historic center (25 minutes walk). RENTING A BIKE (vtt, E-bike) is possible at ADVENTURE VALLEY, 1 km from the chalet. (Adventure Valley is the largest adventure park in Belgium) OUR CHALET SLEEPS 4 PEOPLE AND POSSIBLY A BABY. Upstairs at the first floor there are 2 bedrooms. The bedroom at the back of the cottage has a large double bed (160x200), the bedroom at the front has two single beds (90x200). All beds are provided with very good mattresses with recently renewed top quality toppers! The windows are equipped with a screen, making it wonderful to sleep with the windows open during warm summer nights and wake up to the chirping of the birds! MAISON TRONCHIENNES IS EQUIPPED WITH ALL COMFORTS including a cozy built-in gas fireplace, a TV, free WiFi, a well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher and a bathroom with rain shower. On the terrace, you can relax and in the woods, there is an extra place with 2 deckchairs. Parking your car is possible next to the cottage. Guest access Those who wish can, within "Sunclass", enjoy the heated INDOOR SWIMMING POOL and various sports facilities. Furthermore, there is a BRASSERIE in the park with delicious, budget-friendly dishes, a vending machine with soft drinks and snacks, a shop rack (in the reception) with basic necessities and a laundry. There is also a BREAKFAST SERVICE nearby (pick-up or delivery on site is possible). Other things to note IMPORTANT INFORMATION BEFORE BOOKING: - It is mandatory to forward a SELFIE TO Airbnb. (no strip drawing, no logo but one clear face please). - DUE TO the CONVENIENT LOCATION IN the woods, IT REMAINS ALWAYS NICE AND FRESH in the chalet during warm summer days. - If desired, you can use BATH TOWELS (6€) and/or Kitchen towels ( 5€) rent at the front desk. - It is requested a DEPOSIT of 150€. The deposit will be collected via bank transfer 14 days before arrival. This will be fully refunded within 8 days after departure, in compliance with the chalet regulations (= checkout instructions) and no damages. - The chalet regulations will be emailed to you after booking, as well as CULINARY ADDRESSES and TOURIST INFO. - For the little ones among us, there is a COT (0-2 years), a HIGH CHAIR and a children's tableware is available. - CHARGING STATIONS for your electric car at the park entrance. - CHRISTMAS MARKET DURBUY: from November 21 to 5 January. (from November 21 only the weekends, from December 17 all days). The entire city is immersed in a fairy-tale atmosphere! Really Beautiful to see! ♥ - Arrival on Christmas and New Year's Day is not possible. - Late check-out is sometimes possible on request (only on Sundays, extra charge).
