Orewa Getaway - 3 minute walk to the beach!

Welcome to Sunshine Cottage, your ultimate seaside escape in Orewa! This 3-bedroom cottage is the perfect destination for family or friends seeking a peaceful retreat, just minutes from the beach. Our charming cottage features 3 comfortable bedrooms, 3 toilets, 1 bathroom, a kitchen, dining area and lounge, plus a balcony and outdoor area, providing ample space for families or groups of friends up to 6 people. The space The bedrooms include a master bedroom with a King bed, a room with 2 King singles and a room with a bunk – that also features king singles. The cottage offers plenty of space for relaxing and unwinding after a day at the beach – including a fully equipped kitchen, a spacious open-plan living and dining area and an outdoor area with astro turf grass, perfect for year round play. The house also has a small desk for working from home, fast working wifi and a TV in the lounge with access to FreeToAir channels and our Netflix account. The kitchen has a coffee machine that takes pods, plus an Air Fryer so you can make quick and easy meals. Step outside and enjoy the sunshine in our large outdoor area, complete with a spacious balcony with plenty of seating and an umbrella, plus a grass area with a herb garden. There are 2 parking spaces available for 1 car inside and 1 car outside, so you won't have to worry about finding a spot on the street. In our garage you’ll also find a washing machine, dryer and clothes horse (one hinge is broken!) - plus a selection of beach towels and a beach umbrella! Best of all, our cottage is just a short 3-minute walk to the beach, where you can enjoy a swim, sunbathe, or take a stroll along the picturesque coastline. To maximise your enjoyment we also have access to Stand Up Paddle board (my favourite way to enjoy Orewa’s calm waters) and boogie boards. Let us know in advance if you want to use these. If traveling with kids, we have a portacot, high chair, toys, puzzles and even beach toys too. You are spoiled for choice of cafes, pubs and restaurants in the main village, just a quick ten minute walk along the beach or road, or a 3 minute drive away. Guest access You have full access to the house, via a unique door code. Other things to note If you have children staying, please let us know and we are able to provide a portable cot, and some children's books and toys :) The sea wall is currently being built at various points along the beach from Oct 24-Oct 25.
