Stylish with a "Beach in Colorado" vibe, the place is turn-key to make your stay INCREDIBLE! Smoking outdoors only & no parties, please. Well-behaved pets always welcome (dog door can be blocked off if needed). If you are allergic or sensitive to the inevitable 'surprises' that come from housing fur babies, this may not be for you. The space We are 1 minute from Standley Lake for trails, fishing, picnicking, paddle-boarding and the incredible Bald Eagle Nesting Sanctuary. Across the street from the most amazing dog park you will ever see and 15 minutes to the nearest MOUNTAIN area (Eldorado Canyon stuns!) We are just 20-25 minutes to Denver and Boulder; 80 minutes to world-class skiing, 40 minutes to Blackhawk/ Central City (casinos galore!), world-class golfing "next door" and 5 minutes to the fantastic Flatirons Mall. ++++ PLEASE NOTE: There are many stairs into and in the home which may be difficult for some guests. Use CAUTION on snowy steps and walkways, please. There is no central A/C in the home, only window air conditioners in the bedrooms and a variety of fans. We lived there for many summers without any kind of cooling, but are learning that some might not be able to take the heat. Please be aware of this when booking in the summer++++ Airplane enthusiasts and bird watchers alike will LOVE sitting on the back deck watching flying things go by! Standley Lake boasts rare birds too! Streaming TV's, board games and cards to keep you busy while indoors. Small Hibatchi charcoal grill provided (nothing bigger as we sometimes have high fire danger). Hammock to nap or yard games to excite! Everything you need to enjoy the absolute splendor that is our state! Close to ALL amenities, yet you feel close to the mountains too. Guest access The garage is used for the unit's storage/supplies and is locked off. The rest of the home, 3 decks and the large yard are your's only. Off street parking via driveway. She has thought of just about everything! All we had to do literally was bring our food and clothing. She even had dog kennels in the garage for our little furry ones we brought along. The beds were comfortable and the place even had a portable device charging station! Very handy! It was so thoughtful of her to bring even replacement garbage bags. Heidi also was very easy to communicate with and responded quickly to my couple of questions. I am definitely going to try to get back when we travel back to the area. The house itself was superb for housing us (could have handled 6-7 comfortably but it was only myself and wife), and perfect for the dogs - the fenced backyard was great. 5/18/2020 at 1:44 PM"
