Description

A very bright apartment, partially renovated to preserve the original furnishings as much as possible: stuccoes, floors and finishes are from the early 1900s. In fact, the apartment was built in 1929, and is therefore visible in many period films. The area in which it is located is Pigneto, a very lively and trendy neighborhood, both day and night, and a few minutes by tram or metro from the historic center. A solution that combines elegance, history, nightlife and comfort. The space The apartment consists of: - a comfortable ENTRANCE with key hooks and historic mirror with toilet; - a LIVING ROOM, where you will find a double sofa bed, a table for 6 people and a 55-inch TV already connected on Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, Disney+, Now and much more: relax! - a BEDROOM, where you will find a large wardrobe, a flap for writing or putting on makeup, a double bed and two beds (one already open and an additional, pull-out one); - a LARGE KITCHEN, where you will find another TV, a fridge, a kitchenette, an electric oven, a microwave, a dishwasher, and everything you need to cook. Open the fridge and the cupboards: everything you find you can use and consume as you like! Also, there is a Frog coffee machine, so you can have the experience of a good coffee from a bar at no cost. Also, if you're a mocha coffee enthusiast, you'll also find an electric mocha and a normal mocha in the breakfast closet. Inside the transparent jar you will find the ground coffee. - a BATHROOM, where you will also find the washing machine: use it if you want to freshen up your clothes. You will also find a range of household cleaning and personal hygiene products, including cabinets and a shower. Under the sink you will find sponges and gloves for cleaning and a basket for dirty linen. You will also find a bathroom heater (to heat it up quickly) and an electric towel warmer: you can use it simply by turning it on with the buttons at the bottom. As for Wi-Fi, it is present with a double antenna throughout the house, so you have the maximum signal wherever you are. As for the temperature regulation, being a historic apartment with very thick walls, it maintains the heat very well in winter and the cool in summer, also because it has the latest generation of fixtures. DURING THE SUMMER SEASON - COOLING In the living room you will find a fixed air conditioner with remote control. In the bedroom, on the other hand, you'll find a portable air conditioner with a remote control and a ceiling fan, with intensity adjustment. You'll find a portable fan in the kitchen. DURING THE WINTER SEASON - HEATING You will find adjustable radiators, in every corner of the house, active until the first April of each year. If you need to iron, you'll also find an ironing board and ironing board. To hang out, however, you will find a clothesline. Guest access The entire house described above is at your disposal and there will never be any guests other than you. However, you will find two closed doors: the cleaning warehouse and a private room, used as a laundry room. Other things to note Located just beyond Termini Station and enclosed between the ancient consular roads of Via Casilina and Via Prenestina, the PIGNETO district is among the most loved and frequented by young Romans and tourists, thanks to its lively and alternative atmosphere. The diverse offerings allow you to spend carefree hours among vintage markets and fresh food markets, street food, traditional trattorias, ethnic restaurants, literary cafes, and trendy clubs. Pigneto extends from Piazzale Labicano between Via Prenestina, Via Casilina and Via dell'Acqua Bullicante, forming a triangle. The neighborhood, with a strong working-class character, was born around 1870 on the gardens, villas and vineyards that populated it even before the eighteenth century. Thanks to its characteristic atmosphere, Pigneto is a real natural set: much loved by the great directors of Neorealist Cinema, it was chosen for masterpieces such as Rome, Open City (1945) by Roberto Rossellini with Anna Magnani and Aldo Fabrizi. Pier Paolo Pasolini set his first film Accattone of 1961 there. In recent years, the neighborhood has undergone a remarkable evolution, transforming itself from a predominantly proletarian neighborhood into a culturally and artistically alive neighborhood. The pedestrian area at the beginning of Via del Pigneto has become a focal point of Roman nightlife for some years, also thanks to its proximity to the University of Rome Sapienza. The pedestrian area in the heart of Pigneto hosts a colorful fresh fruit and vegetable market every morning. At night, however, it turns into one of the trendiest areas of the Capitoline nightlife animated by the lights and voices that come from the many sought-after clubs that face it. Steeped in history, the area includes fascinating places of archaeological interest such as Porta Maggiore and the Sepolcro di Eurisace, among the most solemn architectures of the Roman Empire, the Neopythagorean Basilica of Porta Maggiore, about 9 meters below the level of the current Via Prenestina (first decades of the 1st century AD) and the Sepolcro di Largo Preneste, a funerary building in brickwork dating back to between the 2nd and 3rd centuries AD which reproduces some types of dwellings like those present on the sides of Via Latina and Via Appia Antica. Near Pigneto, we also find the neighboring district of SAN LORENZO. Walking through the neighborhood, don't forget to visit the beautiful Patriarchal Basilica of San Lorenzo fuori le Mura, an important place of worship and among the oldest in the city, Porta Tiburtina, one of the monumental entrance gates in the Aurelian Walls of Rome, Villa Mercede, a splendid park with paths lined with palm trees, pines, cedars and lush plants, arranged on the model of landscape gardens, and the Cemetery of Verano which, among ancient monumental tombs and tree-lined avenues, houses the tombs of famous Italian celebrities such as Goffredo Mameli, Trilussa, Eduardo De Filippo, Vittorio Gassman, Nino Manfredi, Vittorio De Sica and Alberto Sordi.
