Cozy Catskills Coop Cottage

Spend a restorative and creative weekend in our newly renovated Coop Cottage! Nestled within the ecosystem of Ladybug Land - a blooming artist haven & healing homestead - this private space provides an ideal retreat for writers, musicians, couples, or Bethel Woods concert-goers (12 minutes away!) Cozy & rustic, the standalone structure houses a queen-sized bed, large desk & features wide windows that bestow an immersive forest feeling while maintaining privacy from the rest of the property. The space Ladybug Land has been a family property since 1986, lovingly shared between our mother and her three kids. We renovated the Coop Cottage (a former chicken coop-turned-storage shed) in 2021 to expand our hosting capabilities for friends and strangers alike. In addition to renting the Coop Cottage on Airbnb, we also host artist retreats and residencies as well as weddings and other types of community events. We love to interact with our guests and make them feel welcome in this space which we hold so close to our hearts. Guest access In addition to the Coop Cottage and its adjoining stone patio, guests will have access to the Main House for bathroom and kitchen use. We have a half bathroom on the first floor of the Main House, and a full bath on the 2nd floor. In the warm months, we also have a delightful outdoor shower and a firepit in the yard between the Coop and the Main House. Guests are also welcome to stroll and explore our 6 acres of land, which includes a creek and path through the woods.
