Arriving by car is recommended, but it is absolutely possible to arrive without one. By public transport: Fly to Bergen. Take the Norled speed ferry to Rysjedalsvika. From there, a connecting bus brings you to Sørbøvåg. Alternatively, travel by bus or fly to Førde, and bus from there. Local buses connect Sørbøvåg to nearby towns, but departures are limited (about 2–3 times per day), so some planning is needed.
