Welcome to Skyland’s R&R for rest and relaxation! This home is a spacious and peaceful retreat in a quiet neighborhood just minutes away from I-26. It's conveniently located between Johnson City, Kingsport, and Bristol A perfect location for relaxing, visiting family, attending NASCAR events, Appalachian Fairground events, or traveling for business. Whatever the reason for visiting, unwind and feel right at home in Northeast Tennessee. The space **Built around 1960, this home has been thoughtfully updated while preserving its original character and charm. **Located in a quiet neighborhood, the home offers a peaceful setting with birdsong throughout the day. The street has mostly local neighborhood traffic, making it a calm and relaxing place to stay. **The spacious backyard provides plenty of room to enjoy the outdoors. The back section of the carport offers a comfortable spot to grill, sit, and enjoy the fresh air. Grill utensils are provided; guests will need to bring charcoal. **The large carport and driveway provide ample space for parking, and the driveway is also big enough for kids to ride bikes or scooters. The carport is the designated smoking area, with ashtrays provided. **The living room and kitchen are both spacious and welcoming. **The living room includes a sleeper sofa, and the fully equipped kitchen features major appliances, dishes, cookware, and a coffee bar. A few cleaning supplies and garbage bags are located under the kitchen sink. **A sitting area and workstation are located near the laundry room. A small supply of laundry pods and dryer sheets is provided in a container on the wall by the washer, an iron and small ironing board are stored in this area as well. A full size ironing board is behind the broom and vacuum cleaner area. **The home includes three bedrooms plus two twin beds in the basement. Sleeping arrangements include one king bed, one queen bed, one full bed, and two twin beds. All beds have memory foam mattresses. Bedrooms include blackout curtains, and extra blankets are available in each room. **Televisions are available in all bedrooms, the living room, and the basement area. YouTube TV is included, and guests are welcome to log in to their own personal streaming apps. **There are two full bathrooms: one with a bathtub/shower combination and one with a shower. Each bathroom is stocked with starter supplies, including toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, and soap/body wash. A hair dryer is available under the sink in the hall bathroom. Towels and washcloths are provided and will be on the beds in each bedroom. **The large unfinished basement offers several entertainment areas, including a game table with games, cornhole, foosball, a TV area with recliners, a swing, and a kids’ corner with two twin beds, a toy chest, a kids' table and chairs, books, and art supplies. Guest access You will have access to every room in the house except for a storage area in the basement. Other things to note For families with small children, a pack ’n play and high chair seat are available in the hall linen closet. A baby gate is also provided near the stairs. Starter supplies are provided for essential items, including toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, dishwasher detergent, dish soap, laundry detergent, and dryer sheets. Once the starter supply has been used, guests are responsible for purchasing any additional items needed during their stay. The garbage container located in the carport will be checked and emptied by the host on Mondays and Thursdays. The lawn is mowed seasonally and maintained once a week, so you may see someone outside during your stay. Fireworks and open outdoor fires are not allowed on the property. There is a no pet policy.
