Welcome to the Greenhouse! This is a cozy, conveniently located dwelling, filled with plants, sunlight, and art. The home is the perfect retreat after a day of adventuring through the Adirondacks. It is walking distance from the historic Westport Main street where you'll find the shores of Lake Champlain, unique architecture, and charming shops and restaurants. It is surrounded by CATS hiking trails, and is located less than 30 minutes from the base of the High Peaks and other hiking spots. The space The Greenhouse is only 1000 sq ft, but it feels much larger. This is due to the open layout and many windows that let in gorgeous light during all seasons and hours of the day. The house offers wonderful outdoor dwellings as well, including a spacious screened in porch, back deck, and open yard. During the winter season the house remains warm and cozy. Once the temperature rises above 60 I like to open all of the windows and let the fresh Adirondack air run through the house. The 2 beds available are extremely comfortable. If you have extra guests the couch can easily sleep 1 as well, or even the couch on the screened in porch, during warmer months. The Greenhouse is perfect for guests who want easy access to all the recreation that the Adirondacks have to offer, but at the end of the day they want a comfortable place to call home. One where they can watch a movie, and cook a delicious meal from fresh ingredients found at the various neighboring farms. Guest access You will have the house to yourself, but this is my primary residence, so certain rooms and storage areas will be locked for privacy. Other things to note I will write up a long list of my favorite spots to eat, drink, shop and adventure, but please don’t hesitate to reach out for more information. Side note, when this house is not rented it is the primary residence for myself and my dog Lake. Although I thoroughly clean the space before each stay, if you have very severe pet allergies The Greenhouse may not be a good fit.
