Our family invites you to a unique overnight farm adventure on our 50 acre of beautiful rolling hills, alfalfa fields, natural wildlife and private trails. "The Sleepy Goat" Nature Lodge is a newly constructed 136 sq ft fully-equipped tiny house with all the comforts and conveniences of home. Relax under the stars at night with your private campfire, cook outdoors with your own barbecue or just prepare a simple meal with your own tiny kitchen indoors. A covered porch provides you with a view of the farmer's fields and ponds to watch wildlife visitors who come regularly for an evening drink. Enjoy delicious, ready-to-heat meals from a local caterer. Ask about our weekly menu options which include Homemade Soups & freshly baked bread, fully-prepared meat and pasta dishes, vegetarian options, plus fresh baked cookies that you can enjoy hot from the oven. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate is provided. (additional cost for meals can be added on post-booking; just provide us with at least 48 hours notice). Visit year-round and see a working farm in every season. Your private accommodation includes your own 2-piece bathroom and tiny kitchen for all your comfort and conveniences. Enjoy a unique and memorable experience with family, loved ones or a romantic get-away. You will find a single-cup coffee maker, toaster, kettle, microwave, oven, fridge, freezer, dishes, toilet, sink, hot water, A/C, outdoor grill, private fire pit and wood, and private picnic table. Bedding available (includes clean sheets, warm blankets, , pillows, bath towels, and kitchen towels) Your booking includes 2 adults plus children. There is a queen sized bed with a double sized bunk loft overtop that is safely accessible with a ladder. If you have more than 2 children, there is a small couch (NOT A PULL-OUT COUCH). NOTE - there is a pull-out couch (double bed) in “The Slumbering Alpaca” Lodge - please see our other listing for more details. If you want to book your stay with more than 2 adults, there is an additional $25 per adult. Our second Nature Lodge, "The Slumbering Alpaca", can be booked for larger groups. We also have a Glamping Trailer available (mid-April to October) in additional to several large tent set-ups that we provide. Please ask! You will receive a farm map to navigate your way around our property safely and within the boundaries of a working farm. You are welcome to join us during our daily chores which include milking goats, feeding animals and collecting eggs. Add-On a 1 hour Farm Experience at a discounted rate of $79 including Goat Snuggles, Alpaca Walks, Pony Encounters and a combination to meet them all. We offer Homesteading Classes in Goat's Milk Soap and Cheese Making. Classes are 1.5-2 hours in length and cost $189 for the group. You will have your own handcrafted batch of goats milk soap to take home, or sample delicious and fresh goats and jersey cow cheeses. While you are here, you can explore our Carolinian Forest trails, visit with the friendly farm animals, relax at your campsite or one of several picnic areas, take the kids to enjoy the Woodland Adventure Playground, and build a relaxing campfire on your site under the stars. There are numerous places to visit nearby for entertainment, food, and shopping. There are also several public woodland trails and river access points nearby to explore.  
You will also have access to our public washroom facility that has a modern, indoor shower for extended stays. Guest access Welcome to the solitude of the country-side. You may not see anyone for miles, but that's the whole point! You will see rolling hills, wheat and alfalfa fields, lots of wildlife, quiet country roads for walking and biking, wetlands and pond life. You will hear the rooster crow, the bullfrogs' symphony at night, the goats' excitement at milking time, Blossom's moo and the calf, Bumble Bee, waiting for her nighttime feeding. Parking is free and there's plenty of space to park right beside your lodge for easy access. Other things to note You may add-on any of the following additional 1-Hour Farm Experiences during your stay ($79 per group) - excluding Sundays (see below) Baby Goat Snuggles, Goat Keeping Class, Alpaca Walks, Pony Encounters We also offer 2-Hour Homesteading Classes ($249 per group) in Cheese Making & Goat's Milk Soap Making & Goat Keeping for Beginners (learn how to milk a goat). Add-On activities are year-round, but there may be seasonal variations. Please indicate which activities you are interested in booking so we can prepare and set aside time for you. *NOTE - we do NOT offer Farm Activities on Sundays - it is our Farm “Day of Rest” - guests are welcome to stay longer on Monday to accommodate this if they want to book an add-on activity. We have outdoor games available, toboggans, extra firewood to purchase, picnic areas, Woodland Adventure Playground, and paddle boat rental.
 Also, purchase our own Jireh Hills Soap Co. fresh goat's milk soap while you visit.
