Beautiful log cabin in Auvergne

Our log house, also called "fuste", is ideally located to visit Auvergne (at the crossroads of 3 beautiful departments: Haute-Loire, Cantal and Puy-de-Dôme)! You will be charmed by its originality, all wood with a green roof. You will undoubtedly appreciate its large terrace with panoramic views of the peaks of Auvergne (from the Cantal mountains to Puy de Dôme, via the Cézallier plateau and Puy de Sancy). You will be in a quiet place! The space Our modern house of about 150 m2 has a living room, 4 bedrooms (one with a 140 × 190 cm bed and a bathroom adjoining the ground floor, one with a 180 x 200 cm bed and two with a 90 x 190 cm child bed upstairs), two bathrooms, separate toilets, an office, a mezzanine. This is not a house intended only for rent but our main home that we offer for rent during our own vacation! Our personal belongings will remain but will be stored and you will have room for yours. Of course, we will leave at your disposal everything you will need during your stay. Children will be delighted to find many games inside but also outside the house! A large library is dedicated to them, as well as many board games. We also have 3 Ouessant ewes and 1 ram (the smallest sheep in the world!) that will keep you company :) They will be in their meadow, next to the house. Bed linen and towels are of course provided! We also leave laundry, dishwashing liquid, dishwasher tablets, etc. at your disposal. Guest access Our house is ideally located to visit Auvergne (close to the A75 highway, without noise and visual nuisance), close to beautiful villages with local farmers' markets, many walks nearby... However, no shops are present in the village. The car is a must. The nearest small town, Massiac, is 8 minutes away by car. You'll find everything you need there. You can also find ski resorts nearby: Le Lioran (50 minutes) and Super-Besse (1 hour) Other things to note If you come in winter, you can warm up comfortably with our large pellet stove in the living room. We will of course leave you the necessary bags of pellets during your stay.
