A very warm welcome to our self contained annex situated within our home Your accommodation is fully private with its own dedicated entrance & parking The annex is a FULLY open plan bedroom, kitchenette & wet room - 49m2 The kitchenette includes a kettle, toaster, microwave & fridge The wet room includes a shower, toilet & sink You will be in the heart of Alverstoke Village with local amenities We are a 10 minute walk or a 2 minute drive to Stokes Bay beach or a 5 minute walk to the Creek The space A relaxing, calm space providing a FULLY open plan annex with a double bed, kitchenette, sitting area & wet room. The bedding & towels are 100% Egyptian cotton. The pillows & duvet are luxurious hotel snuggledown. The mattress is an emma premium mattress. Solent Retreat is self catering accommodation. You will receive a welcome hamper on arrival. Your hamper will include tea, coffee, sugar, biscuits & sweets. There is fresh semi-skimmed milk & refreshments in the fridge for your arrival night. I hope you can see I have thought of your pure comfort whilst staying at Solent Retreat. Guest access The annex is situated within our main residence but is fully private with its own private entrance. There is a private driveway with access for one car. If you would like to park a larger vehicle this may be possible with prior arrangement. Other things to note There is so much within close walking distance!🚶 Within Alverstoke village, a minutes walk away there are fish & chips, chinese, pub, barbers, beauty salon, cafe, convenience store, post office & a hardware store 🍽️ Breakfast options include Joys Cafe in the village providing cooked breakfasts and food throughout the day. Pebbles Cafe, The Alverbank Hotel & Bayside Cabin are all a short walk away situated on the seafront 🍳 The church is within viewing distance & church bells can be heard throughout your stay 🔔 Lunch & Evening meals - If you would like a beach view you can visit Pebbles Fish & Wine Bar, Pebbles Beach Cafe, Bayside Cabin & The Alverbank Hotel. If you want to stay in the village the chinese has a restaurant as well as take away. Fish & chips are take away only 🎣 There are many places to walk from Solent Retreat, we are always happy to suggest walks, bike rides & perfect places to paddle board all very close by! 🏄‍♀️ Gosport is our main town, from here you can take the ferry to Portsmouth and within minutes visit Gunwharf Quays for great shops & restaurants. Portsmouth historic dockyard is a great place to visit, you can take a harbour tour from here ⛴️ There are excellent train lines from Portsmouth to London 🚂
