Filey is a characterful Victorian home in Cliftonville, suited for 6-12 guests in 6 beautifully decorated bedrooms. This is an ideal holiday home for groups of friends and families, offering a peaceful and calming interior, a large open plan living/entertaining space, a choice of dining areas and a garden room. With the beach at one end of the road, shops and restaurants at the other end & Margate Old Town a 10 minute walk away, Filey is the ideal location for your trip! The space Extensively remodelled victorian home set over 3 floors with wooden flooring throughout. Care has been taken to give each space its own unique feel. Inspired by the shingle desert of Dungeness, the secluded sun-trap garden offers a large table and benches for meals (BBQ available), a separate communal seating area and access to the cosy and peaceful garden room (containing a sound system, woodburning stove and yoga equipment). We try to include everything guests will need during their stay, offering environmentally friendly products where possible; fresh bed linen & towels; toilet paper & kitchen roll; hand-wash, shower-gel and conditioner; logs; herbs, spices and cooking oil; dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid and laundry detergent. Mesh wi-fi provides access to fast full-fibre internet across the property. Free on-street parking. Ground floor: Large through-lounge with a table seating for up to 12; lounge area with 50 inch TV and sound bar. Kitchen with a breakfast table; large Rangemaster cooker; herbs and spices for guests to use. W/C Access to basement for washing machine and dryer Garden to rear with access to garden room annexe. Other things to note The cost of cleaning and laundry is included in the price. However, if guests leave excessive mess, stains or cause damage, we may charge additional fees to cover costs. Pets are welcome. However, we charge a small additional cleaning fee per pet. Please let us know if you are bringing pets, and how many. Please don't allow your pets upstairs. We do ask that please that you don’t use tape, Blu-Tack, glitter, or confetti in the property as they can damage surfaces and be difficult to clean. Freestanding decorations, balloons, or non-marking hooks are absolutely fine. The following are available on request: 2 single beds (overall occupancy limited to 12 guests). An additional fee will be applied for each single bed for the duration of your stay. The fee will be charged via the resolution centre. Unfortunately, owing to past guests causing excessive noise and disruption in the garden, particularly during the warmer months, parties and events are strictly prohibited on the property.
