The Buena Vida is a brand new tiny home located on the edge of MoonStream Vintage Campground. It boasts beautiful views of Mt. Princeton, Cottonwood Pass and the Buffalo Peaks. Just minutes away from all of your adventures! 1 minute to historic Comanche Drive-In Theatre 3 minutes to The Barn at Sunset Ranch 4 minutes to Cottonwood Hot Springs 5 minutes to Downtown BV 7 minutes to The Surf Hotel 15 minutes to Mount Princeton Hot Springs Resort 30 minutes to Salida The space The Buena Vida was built and designed by the hosts, Carrie & Jordan, from the ground up. It was built specific to its location, so you will find that the windows and porch are perfectly placed to take advantage of the gorgeous views seen from the campground. KITCHENETTE You will find all the basics to prepare your meals during your stay. The kitchenette is stocked with all of your cooking essentials including: pots & pans, bowls, plates, cups, mugs, wine glasses, silverware, cooking utensils, spices, coffee pot, etc. The tiny house has an apartment-sized fridge/freezer (17.6 cu. ft.), an electric stove for cooking, a microwave and a grill near the porch. BEDROOM & LOFT The tiny home has two main sleeping areas: the bedroom and the loft. The bedroom has a queen memory foam mattress, room darkening curtains, a ceiling fan and a large slider door. There are hooks on the wall for guests to hang clothing items, if desired. The loft has one queen bed. The loft also has hooks for hanging clothing items at the top of the stairs. BATHROOM The bathroom has a full-sized shower, stocked with shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The bathroom is also stocked with towels, toilet paper and a hair dryer. You will also find a hanging rod with hangers in the bathroom for additional clothes storage, if needed. LIVING ROOM The living room has a couch and a 40” TV. The TV has a Roku device and guests may use the apps to login to their personal streaming accounts. We have Starlink internet for Buena Vida guests. EXTERIOR The porch of the Buena Vida extends the living space of the tiny home almost year round! Enjoy your morning coffee or drinks on the porch with some of the best views in the valley in the gorgeous classic Colorado campground scene. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire tiny home, porch and the site at MoonStream Vintage Campground, which includes a picnic table & fire pit. Other things to note The Buena Vida has Starlink internet, which is not shared with any other guests on the campground. We do not have a washer or dryer in the home, but there are laundromats in town (about a 5 minute drive). A pack & play is available for use if requested before your arrival. Please note and understand that fires on the campground may be restricted at certain times of the year due to local fire bans. Towel and linen services for stays longer than a week are offered if requested by the guest. Dirty towels and bed linens will be collected and clean towels and linens will be delivered to the door. The guest may then replace the linens in the home.
