It offers direct access to the forest and walks (on foot and by bike) can be organized directly from the accommodation as well as in the Hautes Fagnes Natural Park. On the ground floor: # An equipped kitchen (dishwasher, oven, microwave, fridge, bar table) with basic utensils for preparing simple meals. Utensils available upon request. Coffee machine (Dolce Gusto) with capsules, and teas available. # A living room inviting you to relax thanks to the wood fire (precise rules of use to ensure the safety of the premises. We light the fire and guests maintain it) and the subdued atmosphere. No TV. # A closet for jackets and some cleaning utensils if needed (vacuum cleaner). # A private terrace and garden. Provision of tables and chairs as well as garden armchairs. # Secure parking on the property that can accommodate 2 cars (+ possibility of a 3rd car if necessary) On the 1st floor: # A reading area (French library on the theme of personal development). # A bedroom with a double bed (160 cm) and a small "cozy" space. # Bathroom with shower, toilet and large closets/drawers for clothes. On the 2nd floor: # A bedroom with 3 single beds and armchairs. Important clarification: House favoring green energy, in a desire to limit the ecological footprint. In winter: limited house heating but pleasant temperatures thanks to the wood fire. Provision of a small electric heater in the living room if necessary (while waiting for the heat of the fire) as well as in the bathroom. In summer: as it is a very old house, it is pleasantly cool in case of high heat. Guest access The house is located at the end of a "cul-de-sac" street and is not visible from the road as it is located at the back of our property. The entrance is on the right (a "La P'tite Maison" sign makes it easy to find – see photo). A paved driveway must be used to access the parking lot. When booking, an information booklet is provided and we will be in touch to facilitate your arrival (some GPS may be problematic). We are always present at check-in and check-out for the pleasure of meeting and talking with guests, but also to provide additional information. We will be happy to answer any questions you may have and advise you on your stay. Other things to note # This house envelops travelers in a gentle energy and invites them to settle down and reconnect with themselves. Thus, this place is not suitable for organizing festive stays (unless it is a question of meeting with family or friends in calm and gentleness). # Thanks to its location in the heart of the 3 borders between Germany, the Netherlands and Luxembourg, this house is ideal for visiting 4 countries in a short time (and why not 5 with the French border located 2 hours away!). # To enhance this nature stay with culture, several recommended places: - Soiron (4 km away): one of the most beautiful villages in Wallonia - Spa (20 km away): world-famous spa town, notably for the Spa-Francorchamps circuit. Numerous restaurants, and activities to discover on the city's website. - Liège (35 km away): nicknamed "The Fiery City", it is lively and vibrant, ideal for a day or two city trip. # Even if the car remains the ideal transport to reach the accommodation, a train station is located a few kilometers away and we can arrange to pick you up.
