Little cabin on the creek

Unwind at this little oasis on Cooks Creek. Enjoy your morning coffee on the deck and watch the birds feeding in the creek. Waterfowl of all types abound as eagles and hawks soar above the creek looking for an easy meal. Fishing is fantastic. Toss a line in off the shore and you're sure to catch half a dozen different species. Finish your day taking in the sunset with a stunning view of the wetlands. The space Little Cabin on the Creek is located on a 10 acre fruit orchard. we are located on Cooks Creek just off the Red River. We grow saskatoons and haskap berries. We also raise Guinea fowl, which are fun to watch as they cruise the property looking for bugs and seeds. Ice fishers...in winter you can cruise right from your door out onto the red river to snowmobile, cross country ski, or ice fish. You're a quick 30 minute ride to the river mouth at Lake Winnipeg. Lots of parking for your toy hauler. Open water fishers.. your boat is right at the dock on the creek. (check with us on water levels) . No need to line up at the launch.
