Friendship Long Island cabin

FRIENDSHIP LONG ISLAND is located just off the mainland in Friendship harbor. Friendship is home to a large lobster fishing community. Lobster buying wharves are all along the village shore. FLI is 3 miles long and ½ mile from the main at the closest point. Walking paths that provided the island roadway of days gone by. FLI in days gone by had a school, granite quarry, store, and post office. With the advent of electricity, the islanders for the most part decided to move to the main.
