Our BlueMoonAcres goat farm has everything to make that dream a reality. 80+ goats (baby goats in the late spring/early summer months), chickens, ducks, pigs and bunnies will surely satisfy that farm experience itch. Join us for chores if you like and help gather eggs and or feed the animals. More personal interaction with certain animals can be arranged. (baby goat snuggles) Other things to note **PLEASE READ** This is an ACTIVE WORKING farm in the country next to fields and forest. Because of our proximity to the forest and fields, you could potentially see bear, deer, moose, coyote, fox, skunk, porcupine, raccoon, mice, squirrel, frog, turtle, spider, mosquito, wasp, bees, blackflies, hawk, eagle and many other types of wild animals or insects. While we do our absolute best to keep as many of these away from our property as possible, but nature rules in the countryside. ** - While here, you can also help by not leaving food or garbage in, around or near the house/deck/firepit areas as this will attract squirrels, mice and raccoons as well as other wildlife! -Goats are not always in the pasture in view of the house. We rotate their grazing so they will be in different pastures at different times of the year. - The farm may not have all animals listed in description at all times due to the time of year and or unforseen circumstances. (We will ALWAYS have goats and chickens) - Spring time is mud time! Please plan accordingly (rubber boots, old shoes). Once again nature rules and when the snow melts, we have mud. Heavy rains in the summer will also produce muddy conditions in some areas. - AC units are window mounted and are removed in the fall/winter/early spring months.
