This North American owned and operated off-grid river house is a converted antique fishing lodge, retrofitted to meet the critical electrical needs of today's modern music international production facilities. Complete with a fully acoustically sealed living room and handcrafted acoustic treatment, the house is a secret hideaway for traveling singer songwriters who need to escape for few days in a place where they can explore their craft in total silence, inside a studio quality recording space. The space Antiques and art fill every corner of this house, with attention to every detail. Designed to transport artists back to the time before computers, but with state of the art interior and exterior lighting and power conditioning, this property is made for professional use. Guest access The house is intuitively designed to have everything you’ll need, and everything you don’t need locked away out of sight. There are a few utility areas and closets clearly locked. Everything else is made to be explored and enjoyed. We just as that you put things back where you found them when done using them. Other things to note The most important detail is that the house is only accessible by a river and there is no way for guests to venture further than a few houses to the left or right. The water is not safe for large quantity consumption, so we provide 40 liters of fresh drinking water to begin every stay. While at the house, there are two neighbors that provide excellent lunches and dinners in their large living rooms, and a supply boat passes slowly on Saturdays and Wednesdays.
