The cottage is ideally located for The Tythe Barn wedding venue (walking distance), Bicester Village (10 mins), Oxford City Centre (30 mins), Blenheim Palace (30 mins), Soho Farmhouse (30 mins). The village has plenty of amenities with a local shop and post office. It also has 2 pubs (1 min walk and 5 min walk), both serving great food and lovely beer gardens. There are country walks on the paths around Launton minutes from the cottage. The space The house, built in 1914, has been extensively modernised and extended in the last year and features a large, high spec fully equipped kitchen, including two dishwashers, oven, large fridge, wine chiller and ceramic hobs. There is a fully openable bifold door, leading to a courtyard with table and chairs. It hosts an attached sitting room with armchairs and a piano. The living room area has two large sofas, with a working log burner (wood provided) and record player. The TV comes with Netflix and a PS4 with a range of games. There is a full cupboard of board games. The house has strong WiFi throughout (40MB+), suitable for working, streaming and video calls. The main bedroom has a king size bed with memory foam mattress. A second bedroom has a double bed. Both bedrooms have plentiful clothes storage. The family bathroom has both an electric shower and a large bath. At the rear is an orchard garden, with apple, plum, pear and cherry trees. The house is furnished throughout with real plants. Parking is available for two vehicles to the rear, accessed via a gravel driveway. Further parking is available on the street. The parking area has an extendable fence, making it enclosed. We welcome dogs, and include no additional charges for bringing your furred family. Great local dog walks are available on request. Guest access Guests have access to most rooms in the house except one bedroom and a study upstairs. Other things to note We welcome your furry friends but please do keep them off the furniture and cream carpets upstairs.
