The striped bass stack up in here from mid April to October. Great crappie, catfish and large mouth fishing. Bring your kayak or canoe and paddle the spring fed creek .The water here stays cool even in the hot summer. Has charcoal grill, Pillow top queen bed, full size bed, coffee maker deck furniture, no phone but within cell service area, linens, kitchen has plates, utensils, pots/pans, Boat parking, Flat screen led TV , Bait and C store store less than 5 miles away. Water up in March and down after labor day. Fishing good year round but dock only has water March-September. Rome,Georgia, Lake Weiss, short term housing, Guest access boat dock and public boat ramp less than mile away. Other things to note Here in the south we have pest and critters in rural locations, especially around the water. Please be aware you may encounter snakes, lizards, wood roaches aka( american roaches), opossums, raccoons, foxes and spiders. We provide pest control but there is no way to stop everything from attempting to visit while you are here. The wood roaches and lzards in paticular are plentiful. They live outside and may intrude because there is no way to safely spray for them this close to a water .
