Mariners Cabin is a modern and minimalist retreat situated in picturesque Cass Bay, perfect for solo travellers or couples looking for a serene escape. This cabin (12 square meters in size) is suspended in the trees, offers the best proximity to beach views, an outdoor bath, barbecue, and a romantic outdoor dining area. It also features an authentic wood burner, ensuring warmth and coziness during chilly nights, while the comfortable double bed provides a restful night's sleep. The space The cabin is compact but has everything you are likely to need for a comfortable and restful stay. Please take note that storage for large suitcases and heavy luggage is limited within this small space (arrangements can be made to store extra luggage in a storeroom in close proximity to the cabin). A table and chairs is provided for dining on the deck. There is no off-street parking. Guests are able to park on our street. Parking spots will likely be a 50m walk from the entrance to the property. Guest access is through a small wooden gate in front of the driveway. There are 13 steps down to a gravel path and then 4 stone steps down to a few stone pavers before the sliding door entrance to the cabin deck. Please close the slider if you do not want to be disturbed. There is a kayak and 2 stand up paddleboards available for guests to use. Guest access There is a quick walk down to the beach tracks. Please use the stone stepped pathway down to the bottom of the garden (to the left of the cabin), which leads to a wooden gate and the path to the reserve and beach. Two stand up paddleboards are located by the wooden garden gate and are available for guests to use. The yellow kayak is halfway down the path and the lifejackets and paddles are under the Cabin. Other things to note There might be a small poodle called Jimmy and a grey Tabby called Neo in the garden. Please ensure that all gates are kept closed as Jimmy likes to venture away from home.
