Description
Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. This cozy glamping tent is located in a quiet and peaceful meadow where deer frequent and the sounds of birds and the nearby river will lull you to sleep. Located down a dirt road and requires a short walk to access. This gem is only for the adventurous traveler. Unfortunately we do not allow fires. New Listing! We are offering a discounted nightly rate for the first month to allow guests to try out our place. The space This cozy glamping tent is perfectly situated to enjoy the outdoors. We recommend having a vehicle with decent clearance (you don't need AWD or 4-wheel drive) but you will need to drive 1/2 mile down a dirt road to access. Also requires a short walk (450 feet) down a hill to access (shown in pictures). We have a porta-potty on site but no shower or bath facilities. We provide water, camping lights, small fan, Thermacell mosquito repellent and toiletries, shown in photos. Fires are not allowed, but we have a propane fireplace near the tent. There are a number of deer that live in the meadow. Please be kind to them and watch out for deer poop. The tent is nestled between a canal (we provide 2 float tubes if you want to float the canal) and the Price River (just a stream) but perfect for dipping your toes in the hot summer sun. There is also a hammock if you want to hang it in the trees. There are plenty of off-road trails that are accessible from the property, including a route to the Gordon Creek Falls trailhead. This is a 4 meter (12 foot) bell tent. It's 12 feet in diameter (12 feet long x 12 feet wide) and 7 feet tall at its peak. We have also set up a canopy with canvas cover and a camp kitchen table with sink near the tent. This property is located 3.5 miles from historic Helper Main Street which has undergone major renovations in the last few years to showcase the mining and railroad history. While you're in town stop by the museum, visit the bank vault robbed by Butch Cassidy or enjoy live music on Saturday evenings at Helper Vibes. Guest access Guests are welcome to enjoy the glamping tent and meadow. Please do not wander around the larger family farm surrounding this area.
