Quiet cottage with magnificent views of the cliffs! Old barn completely renovated, with 2 floors: - Ground floor: 2 bedrooms separated by a partition and opaque curtains, each equipped with a 160 cm bed (1 queen bed and 1 sofa bed). Separate bathroom and toilet. - 1st level: living room/kitchenette, which also serves as a yoga studio when the house is not rented, with large arches in tufa stone, typical of the region. Guaranteed disconnection in this setting in the heart of nature! The space Note: - There is very high speed Wi-Fi, but no TV - The 2 bedrooms are not closed by doors but opaque curtains. Facilities: kitchenette (gas stove, microwave, classic coffee maker, kettle, small fridge and everything you need to cook and eat on site), fireplace with insert, 2 reversible air conditioners, bed linen and bath sheets provided, 140 cm shower, blackout curtains and blinds, tourist documentation, board games. Garden furniture on covered terrace, facing south, and overlooking the surrounding nature. IMPORTANT: We reserve the right to deny you access to the lodging if you arrive with more guests than your booking, or if you have a pet with you. Guest access The accommodation is rented in its entirety, you will have access to the 2 levels, both accessible on one level. You can also enjoy the garden of more than one hectare by the river, with a great view of the cirque of Saint Paul des Fonts, and its majestic cliffs. Other things to note The name "La maison des biches" (The House of Deer) is simply linked to the fact that we often see them on our property (deer, roe deer and fawns), you may be lucky enough to come across them during your stay, even in the middle of the day! In this peaceful retreat, you can enjoy the sound of the river flowing down the property. Go see our chickens in the middle of an organic orchard recently planted with several dozen trees, admire the Milky Way at night when the sky is clear, because there is no light pollution here. You will also have no noise disturbance, because the road that arrives at the village is a cul-de-sac, so very little traffic apart from the inhabitants of the village, and the house is located more than 500 m from the center. Located in South Aveyron, in the Grands Causses Regional Natural Park, this small 70 m² stone house on a plot of more than one hectare, is nestled in the heart of the Cirque de Saint Paul des Fonts, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You can enjoy panoramic views of the Aubaygue Ravine from the garden. Nearby: - Hiking lovers can enjoy the GR71C, going to the cliff that overlooks the village (see photo taken from the top of the cirque, with view of the village). - You can visit the famous Roquefort cellars just 10 km away - All amenities are present in the city of Saint-Affrique 15 km away (shopping mall, restaurants, market, cinema, post office, etc.) - Kayak, pedal boat, paddle or simply swim in the gorges of the Tarn, the Dourbie, or the Raspes de St Rome de Tarn.
