The building's renovation aimed at both energy efficiency (Class A+) and aesthetic enhancement, utilizing eco-friendly materials that are safe for both residents and the environment. The building’s exterior and the handcrafted furniture have been coated with natural paints by the German company AURO (a certified “CO2-neutral” company). The Design... is based on the concept that all internal support structures, appliances, and objects flow with a seamless consistency, acting as extensions of the load-bearing masonry. Although, restored items—such as the dining room lighting, the marble washbasin, and the bathroom mirror—further enhance the unique character of the house.
