Description
The studio has its own entrance, and it is not accessible from the rest of the house. It is a 5-minute walk to the vibrant Ellerslie Village, with cafés, restaurants, bars and shops. There, you can catch regular trains and buses into Auckland CBD, Auckland Airport and other parts of the city. If you're driving, the Southern Motorway is 5 mins away. It has a large bedroom, bathroom, toilet, kitchenette, workspace, TV, Fast Wi-Fi and a verandah to relax on. Parking is available on request. The space Our house is a traditional kiwi home built in 1907 with historical significance. This is most evident in the large bathroom with its original claw foot iron bath and tiled fireplace. There is also a shower cubicle in the same room. The toilet is separate to the bathroom. The bedroom has a queen size bed with electric blankets and a window box seat in a sunny bay. A table and chairs can be used as a workspace. The covered verandah has a table and chairs you can use to relax on. The kitchenette is in its own small space and has a fridge with small freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, cutlery etc. Free Wi-Fi is provided, and also a Smart TV operating on fast internet. Guest access You will have your own key to your private entrance on the verandah with exclusive access to your rooms during your stay. Other things to note Free on-street parking and one space is available in the driveway by arrangement. The train station is at the end of our street, 4 mins walk. Regular buses run every 10 minutes from Ellerslie Village, 5 mins walk. The motorway is very close, so getting to most places in Auckland by car is very easy. Few places in Auckland are more central than Ellerslie. It's easy to get to and from the Airport, Mount Smart Stadium or Spark Arena for concerts, Eden Park for rugby, and Newmarket and Sylvia Park shopping centres with cinemas etc. Ellerslie Racecourse and Event Centre, Ellerslie Central Business Park, and the Chinese Embassy in Great South Road are short level walks away.
