The space Unlike hotels our properties have individual Heat / AC and ventilation systems. We use a professional cleaner between each guest. This building has electronic locks so you check-in is easly. Like many buildings in DC of this time period the building either heats or cools, depending on time of year. It was a one bedroom but to make it more open and modern we took down the walls and made it a large open studio. YouTube TV with 80 channels (and streaming) plus HBO Max free, plus smart TV with built in Netflix and Amazon Prime for use with your accounts. Combo washer/dryer in apartment. Full laundry room for the building is down the hall. This is a Capitol Hill Stay property. We are a veteran-owned business, in business since 1997. We have 20 places on Capitol Hill. Rates are based on length of stay, specific dates needed, amenities requested, etc. Bookings less than 91 days are subject to the DC lodging tax of 15.95%. If your stay is 91 days or longer you avoid that tax for the entire stay. SINCE EVERY INQUIRY IS DIFFERENT AND THE BIGGEST FACTOR IN PRICE ARE THE SPECIFIC DATES CHOSEN AND LENGTH OF STAY RATES MAY BE HIGHER OR LOWER THAN WHAT IS POSTED. Late spring and summer are the 'high season' very high demand months, moreso this year than ever before as this is the first year that many federal agencies and private employers are bring people back to DC, and they are making up for lost productivity during Covid. Most furnished housing providers in DC will only take bookings for three months or longer during these months. We will do shorter stays, but the furnished housing business is usually priced by length of stay (and specific dates chosen). Shorter term stays are at a higher rate. And generally we try to match an incoming booking with an apartment that is available beginning within a week or so of the requested date. For instance if you are seeking a one or two month rental beginning July 1 we would want to match your request with a property available beginning in very late June or July 1 (not leaving more than a couple of days vacant between bookings). There may be several days during the turnover where it neither heats nor cools.
