Welcome to The Glam Casita – Your Home Away from Home! This private home is a short drive from the airport and the best of Nob Hill—amazing restaurants, bars, and local shops. You’ll also be near ABQ Netflix Studios, UNM, and Kirtland Air Force Base, making it super convenient whether you're here for work or fun. The neighborhood is quiet, safe, full of kind neighbors, and is close to several well-kept parks, perfect for a relaxing walk or jog any time of day. Thanks for checking us out! The space We take great pride in presenting our stylish, comfortable, and impeccably clean home to you. Every aspect of this property has been thoughtfully renovated, from the plumbing and electrical systems to the custom clay walls and modern stainless steel appliances. We strive to maintain a fresh ambiance with newly replaced textiles, linens, bedding, and kitchenware. To ensure the utmost cleanliness, our casita undergoes thorough professional cleaning by a talented and well-compensated cleaner after each guest's departure. Additionally, the yard is diligently maintained by our neighbor-friend and local property manager, Judy. During your stay, you may catch a glimpse of her tending to our plants in the front or backyard. For your peace of mind, we have established a routine schedule of non-toxic pesticide spraying, both inside and outside the property, performed by a professional company. While we make every effort to keep creepy critters at bay, it's worth noting that encountering a bug is not uncommon in the high desert as they are a natural part of the ecosystem. Guest access Guests will have private access to the entire house and yard. The garage is reserved for personal storage. Parking is super easy! There is a long driveway that you could easily fit 2) Ford F-150s in or could accommodate a truck and a small trailer, there is also ample free street parking. Our small pickup will be parked in the driveway but there is plenty of room for 2 large vehicles to be parked behind. We have 2) bedrooms with doors 2) common rooms that have 2 sofa beds 2) full bathrooms, 3) Large Closets, a large smart TV in the living room, a smart TV in the Master bedroom, a gas fireplace, 2 small workstations, and internet that works well inside the house (it's a little spotty outside at times but is the best internet offered in our neighborhood). There is a full kitchen, stocked with spices, oil, coffee/tea, and all the tools you would need to cook an awesome meal, a washer & dryer free of charge, and detergent. The only areas off-limits are the 3 small closets marked "PRIVATE", one is located next to the front door, one is in the front bedroom the other is next to the laundry door. There is ample room in the remaining large 3) closets to comfortably accommodate 6 people. Other things to note In general, the neighborhood is super chill and quiet. Inside we've never had any noise issues. If you're outside, you're likely to hear the military bugle at 7 am and 5 pm, which to us is more charming than annoying and has never woken us up.
