Located in the sleepy town of Pognana L, known for the best sunsets at lake Como, this contemporary yet authentic apartment has been entirely renovated in 2023. The apartment is one of the few precious places located on the first line towards the lake featuring unparalled lake views from the spacious living room and private balcony. It features two separate king size bedrooms, a fully equipped, open kitchen, contemporary bathroom with rain shower and private, covered parking within 300 meters. The space Loria offers a spacious living room with lounge and dining areas, with top to bottom, panoramic windows featuring a stunning lake view. The living room features a large dining table where you can comfortably sit with 4 people overlooking the lake. A seating area with cozy chaises lets you lean back and take in the lake and its dramatic mountain range. The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge, oven, microwave, 4 electric cooking plates, espresso machine with complimentary coffee, tea kettle and several varieties of tea, and all necessary kitchen utensils. There is a large bathroom with a shower cabin, sink, toilet and bathroom amenities. The bedrooms combine lots of sunlight and the light tones of a wooden floor made by Italian artisans. It is equipped with a comfortable king-size double bed. A desk is centered between 2 built-in custom wardrobes. Premium quality bed linen and towels are at your disposal. Directly adjoining the living area, there is a terrace with a stunning view of the lake, perfect for relaxing. Additionally, there is a cozy garden located on the ground floor in front of the apartment, fully equipped with comfortable garden furniture. This private garden offers guests a peaceful outdoor space to unwind. Staying here you would be only 20 min drive from the town of Como and 25 min to Bellagio, making Loria the perfect base for exploring the Lake (bus C30 which stops a few meters away from the stairs down to Loria, will bring you to both Bellagio and Como). This is a truly romantic place where one can switch off from the hustle and bustle and enjoy the slow living. We like to think it is the spot for the dreamers of the world. It is perfect for surprising your better half and enjoying your anniversary, his/her birthday, or simply taking the time to indulge. Our ultimate goal is letting guests fully embrace the motto all true Italians live by ''Dolce far niente''. There are 2 sup's available for guests of both Air Bnb Loria and Air Bnb Rondini, use to be coordinated between them Not many people know but we'll let you in on a secret - even if the (traditionally) best time to visit the Lake is between March and October, Lake Como has an amazing feel in winter as well. With its fascinating mountain surroundings and frequent sunny, crispy days, the winter season is perfect for taking the time to relax and enjoy: read a good book, take leisure walks to the lake shores, visit one of the magnificent historic villas (without the summer crowds), indulge in local food & wine or simply switch off from the busy daily routine. For those of you that enjoy the occasional TV evening, you will find a 43'' smart TV in the living room (with direct apps to Netflix, Disney, etc, so you can just sign into your account and enjoy your favourite shows and music, although we'd recommend the non-tech life pleasures around here:-). The nearby town of Como has plenty of cultural and shopping possibilities in winter as well. Important note: Our accommodation is accessed via a staircase of 400 steps from the public road. Please note that the climb may be challenging for some guests. We take cleaning and disinfecting very seriously. We have applied a vigorous and thorough cleaning process in order to ensure your health and safety. Guest access Access to the apartment is exclusively on foot or via the water (with the ferry via the Pognana Lario Ferry terminal). There is a private parking spot reserved for you at street level. The garage is located approximately 300 meters from the apartment, accessible via a pedestrian stairway. In addition to the terrace, there is also a cozy garden located on the ground floor in front of the apartment, fully equipped with comfortable garden furniture, offering a more spacious area where you can relax. Other things to note Please note that access requires taking 400 steps down (and back up!). The private garage is conveniently located at street level, but you'll need to take the steps to reach the apartment. If you have limited mobility, this could be challenging. For those who love a bit of adventure and don't mind the climb, our place is perfect for you! No smoking indoors or outdoors.
