In the country, surrounded by pine trees and nature, unique 55+yr old residence. Very private, roomy, 15 x 17 ft guest room with direct, self-check in entry just a few steps from parking. Private bathroom down the hall except I share the shower/tub. Fast Starlink Internet. Soak under the stars in jacuzzi just steps from your room! Shared kitchen. LOTS of shy CATS - guests rarely see them. I LIVE HERE TOO, you are sharing my sacred space. Apx 1 hour to Crater Lake Rim with light traffic. The space 35 beautiful acres of pine forest Nature Retreat, 5 minutes walk to river. Off the beaten path and very quiet here. Others share this property but are a comfortable distance away. Easy road access only 2 miles from Chiloquin. Guest room has MASSIVE windows with views of pine forest. Very relaxing and nurturing. Since this house was built originally as a cafeteria for a Boys Camp in the early 70s, it is old and unique. If you expect hotel quality structure, please book a hotel instead! Wildlife includes racoons, rabbits, squirrels, skunks, chipmunks, coyotes, deer and the occasional bobcat. Local birds include ravens, blue jays, finches, owls, and woodpeckers. Approximately 1 hour drive to Crater Lake Rim Lodge, depending on traffic. Apx 30 minutes north of Klamath Falls off Hwy 97. Guest access All of it except my personal bedroom. During your stay You can message me if you need something up to around 8PM when I turn off my phone. Or if I'm here, just ask. If you would be so kind, I would like to know what time you might be arriving and a courteous alert when you check out. Otherwise, it's your jam and my jam! It's a BIG house. We might bump shoulders near the bathrooms but that's about it. Other things to note I like hosting easy going, loving, open-hearted people. I have lots of cats. Most of the time they are outside. Guest bathroom exclusively for guests except SHARED Shower/Tub with me. Guest room is on the opposite side of the house down a hallway, thus VERY private. Guest room has a comfortable pull out sofa bed for two and a Queen bed. Everything in the kitchen is yours to use including cooking oils, salad dressings, whatever you need. In your room I provide complimentary instant coffee and pods, a variety of teas, and instant cold drink mixes. Tables and chairs and Jacuzzi in backyard. I provide 2 robes and 2 slip on pairs of slippers for your convenience. I head to bed around 7 - 8pm. I usually rise around 5am. So if arriving after 7pm expect to let yourself in and find your own way around. Cell signal might drop from the turn off on Chiloquin Ridge Rd... so review check in details and directions BEFORE you get here. Once here you can switch to wifi calling.
