More than a stay, this is a quiet retreat experience where you can unwind in nature, soak in the hot tub under the stars, or sit outside at the guest table. Private guest room with easy self check-in just steps from parking. Bathroom is on OPPOSITE side of house, for night use optional porta-potti is in guest room. Shy cats share my home and come and go. Namaste! The space 35 beautiful acres of pine forest Nature Retreat, 5 minutes walk to river. Off the beaten path and very quiet here. Others share this property but are a comfortable distance away. Easy road access only 2 miles from Chiloquin. Guest room has MASSIVE windows with views of pine forest. Very relaxing and nurturing. Since this house was built originally as a cafeteria for a Boys Camp in the early 70s, it is old and unique. If you expect hotel quality structure, please book a hotel instead! Bathroom is down the hall on the other side of the house from guest room. Wildlife includes racoons, rabbits, squirrels, skunks, chipmunks, coyotes, deer and the occasional bobcat. Local birds include ravens, blue jays, finches, owls, robins, and woodpeckers. HUGE window panes in guest room! The sky practically falls in! Approximately 1 hour drive to Crater Lake Rim Lodge, depending on traffic. Apx 30 minutes north of Klamath Falls off Hwy 97. Guest access Guest room, hallway, kitchen, bathroom and back yard. 5 of my 14 rescued cats friends are semi-wild and come in to eat in the living room at night and sometimes sleep in there so I prefer no lights on in the living room nor usage and tread quietly when you walk through it to get to the kitchen and bathroom, if after 7pm. I do have laundry you can use but I expect some sort of gratitude monetary donation. 🙏 During your stay You can message me if you need something up to around 8PM when I turn off my phone. My bedroom is next to the guest bathroom and the door is a blanket because of my cats, so you can talk with me through that if you need something. If you would be so kind, I would like to know what time you might be arriving and a courteous alert when you check out. I'm like a mom with teenage kids and worry about my guests until the safely arrive. 😁 Swedish Massage and deeply relaxing 9D breath sessions and Bio-Computer Aura/Chakra Analysis offered. Message me for more information. Other things to note I like hosting easy going, loving, open-hearted people. I have lots of cats. Most of the time they are outside or run when strangers are about. Except Tiger my Maine Coon companion, who will most assuredly greet you. Guest bathroom exclusively for guests except SHARED Shower/Tub with me. Guest bathroom is on the opposite side of the house down a hallway. HUGE SIGN on door says "GUEST BATHROOM". Guest room has a comfortable pull out sofa bed for two and a VERY comfortable Queen bed. Kitchen you are welcome to cooking oils, salad dressings, butter, things that would be stupid to buy for a short stay. In your room I provide complimentary instant and ground coffee and a French Press, a variety of teas, and instant cold drink mixes. There is also a electric kettle. Tables and chairs, Jacuzzi and gas fireplace in backyard. I provide robes and slippers for your convenience. I head to bed around 8pm. I usually rise around 5am. So especially if arriving later expect to let yourself in and find your own way around. Cell signal might drop from the turn off into Nature Retreat on Chiloquin Ridge Rd... so review check in details and directions BEFORE you get here. Once here you can switch to wifi calling.
