The space Vintage 1963 artisan crafted family friendly home awaits you in a quiet neighborhood with 4 large bedrooms consisting of; 2 queens, 2 fulls 2 twin beds. Perfect for multiple couples or family gatherings. Have little ones? You can rent from BabyQuip, which offers up-to-date and sanitized items for your infant. Bedrooms are large, so no problems. Inside Amenities include; Roku TV - login with your account to streaming service of choice. Note you will need a Roku acct for TV's to work. If you do not have one you will need to set one up. WiFi, Gourmet kitchen - filtered water at sink & water & ice from refrigerator. Laundry room - extra large sized washer and dryer, laundry soap, ironing board, iron, refrigerator. Bathrooms - Hair dryers, shampoo, conditioner, hand soap Mini bar - wine fridge, ice machine Lounge - books, magazines. Relax w/good cocktail or book or both Game room -full size pool table, chess, backgammon, poker, various board games. Den - Large Roku TV and fireplace w/great view to backyard and comfy furnishings to cuddle up and catch a good game or movie Garage - Full size ping pong table and accessories is set up in the garage. Need two cars in the garage? no problem, the pool table folds up and can be rolled out of the way to accommodate a sedan on the left garage bay. The right garage bay will accommodate a larger car. Outside you will find a heavily treed yard with a shaded sprawling patio with; Hot tub Out Door Fireplace (limited use, seasonal pending firebans) BBQ grill, Chiminea Lounge chairs Bike storage space with access to the garage for easy storage. In addition we have Large 10 person Yurt-Style tent for property only (bring your camping gear) 1 queen size premium air mattress (for house or for tent) These items are available for set up with advanced notice and additional cost. Safety - property has a security system which includes continual exterior video monitoring at break-in points, as well as a video monitored door-bell, smoke, fire and break in alarms. Children are to be supervised by an adult for duration of stay. Infants and toddlers are NOT allowed in the hot tub. Please read the house manual, (in Amenities) on other hot tub prohibitions. IF serious inclement weather you may use the large, clean, dry inground storm shelter with electric. Free Parking up to 4 cars (2-3 on property if use garage and 1 street side, or 2 in driveway and 2 street side). See house manual for parking restrictions. Guest access Only 24 years or older can reserve and must have a good rating on ABnB. Guests will have access to whole house and yard. Other things to note This is a 1963 vintage home. Please respect that. IF you want to know... History; Much of the cabinetry is solid wood and hand crafted by furniture makers. It is cost prohibitive to be replaced today. The house was originally built by a WW2 fighter pilot and later prominent community member of Norman. His wife had excellent taste and the house reflects some French styling as seen in the roof style as well as the double doors of the many closets and cabinetry styles she selected. Unfortunately many of the crystal lighting fixtures were in need of rewiring so we have not been able to reinstall those. We are the 2nd proud owners and have tried to respect and preserve the home as it is crafted beyond what we could hope to replace it with. The back yard was built by the original owner and sons. Yes they built it! The iron work came about by the industrious Missus who offered the project to the Vo-Tech... and many students learned, worked here and the "payment" was experience and likely several ice tea's and lemonade and sandwiches as befitting hospitality. Unfortunately it has been very hard to find the same templates to fix the missing parts, or the skilled iron workers who will work, piece by piece to restore it. Please respect it and do not sit on it. We hope you will be understanding about this as well as our "back yard-in-progress". .. Of interest to like-minded conservationists; we want to lessen the light pollution for our few fire flies still inhabiting the lower portion, by letting most of the yard go a "curated" wild to attract more. So we ask that the top row of lights on the back patio only be used while guests utilize top portion of the deck. Lastly this is a pesticide free yard and please respectfully enjoy our home during your stay.
