Easy access for station/airport and a short walk from the bustling area of Leith. Two very friendly dogs! The space Hi there! I’m a Superhost and would love to welcome you to my home. My house is tastefully decorated and comes with everything you’ll need for a comfortable stay, including fresh linen, towels, and toiletries. You’ll get to experience living like a local, with easy access to the city and lots of great spots nearby. This is a family home rather than a hotel, so it may not be “perfect” in a hotel sense, but it’s very clean, well presented, and cosy. Like many UK homes, it’s not huge, but your room has a UK king-size bed (equivalent to a US queen), a small en suite, and plenty of storage and hanging space. Please check out the photos to get a good idea of the room layout and amenities so there’s no confusion. There are several grocery stores and cafes close by, and some lovely river walks to enjoy. You are also welcome in the living room and dining room if the family are not using it. Other things to note The kitchen is available for you to use, and there’s tea and coffee in your bedroom for you to enjoy. We don’t allow smoking or vaping anywhere in or near the house. My dogs aren’t allowed in the guest bedroom, but they do bark occasionally—so this might not be the best place for you if you’re not a fan of dogs. We genuinely love hosting and meeting new people from all over the world. Please just remember this is our home, and we’ll be going about our daily lives while you’re here. We’re relaxed about guests arriving back late, especially on weekends or holidays—even if other reviews suggest otherwise! Just drop me a message if you will late in. I’m always happy to answer any questions about Edinburgh or help however I can. And just a note: the bed is a UK King size, which is a bit smaller than an American King. Please note that for all bookings made after the 1st October 2025 for stays commencing from 25th July 2026 there will be a city tax ther hosts need to collect. This is mandatory by Edinburgh City Council and is 5% of the total cost of the stay for the first five nights of each booking.
