Guest suite in Paso Robles

Welcome to Utopia on Union, a bright and spacious private suite with separate entrance located in the heart of Paso’s East side wine country. Escape from the hustle and bustle in our quiet rural retreat, but you won’t miss out on any of the action since this space is located on the Union Road Wine Trail in the midst of countless wineries, yet less than a 15-minute drive downtown Paso Robles. Thoughtful amenities make this the perfect place to unwind. The space Park in your own designated and covered parking area, and walk mere steps to your private entrance into a light filled, airy studio. The open concept floorplan boasts vaulted ceilings, large windows, a sitting area with flat panel TV, work space, kitchenette, and private bathroom. The bed is a king size memory foam mattress, and there is also a small futon. Outside, there is a small patio table and chairs perfect for enjoying a glass of wine while catching the sunset. Please note this is a rural location, where you may encounter wildlife of all kinds. Access is also via a short, well-maintained dirt road. Guest access Please note that this is a private guest suite attached to another structure. However, rest assured that everything in the suite is private to you – the only aspect that is shared with the main residence is a wall - and you have your own private entrance and patio area. Other things to note We love pets, but we do not allow them on the furniture (sofa or bed). Guests will incur an additional cleaning fee if this instruction is disregarded. The reason is that we have a responsibility to remove all traces of pets for our non-pet guests (including those with allergies), and it takes a lot of time and work to remove pet hair from the sofa and bedding (and usually the curtains behind the bed). The space does not have a full kitchen, but offers a kitchenette equipped with a mini fridge, coffee maker, toaster, and microwave. There is not a separate sink for the kitchenette. The kitchenette is stocked with plates, bowls, cups and utensils. This setup is ideal for shorter stays or for those guests who plan on eating out for most meals. There is a very short (0.2 mile) and well maintained dirt road to access the property. We ask able-bodied couples to open/close a gate as they come in and out of the property to help keep wildlife out of our orchard and garden. Because we are a rural property, you may encounter wildlife big and small. We have amazing housekeepers and professional pest control, and we do our absolute best to make sure that nature stays outside, but sometimes it is out of our control. Over the years we’ve had a few guests who were distraught upon encountering a cricket, spider, or pincher bug. For those who would be similarly uncomfortable, we urge you to look for accommodations in town with less surrounding nature.
