Waterfront Cottage in Hope Bay on Georgian Bay

The kitchen and bathroom are newly renovated, and a small beach in front of the cottage is partially shaded. At the water, a dock, elevated deck, firepit, picnic table, and lounging chairs are set up for summer fun. Spring-fall hiking and biking are excellent, and the cottage is well-insulted, heated and warm. The space Comfortable, spacious open-concept living, kitchen and dining areas. Large front windows offer panoramic views of water, sky and escarpment. The Saugeen-Bruce Peninsula is a UNESCO World Biosphere where hiking, rock climbing, and kayaking are very popular, and it is an international destination for many outdoor enthusiasts. On the Georgian Bay side of the peninsula, the cottage sleeps a maximum of five comfortably with two queen-sized beds (1 in each bedroom), a single bed in one of the bedrooms or by the wood stove, and a queen-sized mattress with the pullout couch in the front addition. New claw foot tub, separate rain shower, washing machine, new kitchen with stone counters, modern appliances, and selection of stainless steel pots, pans, knives and cookware are all organized for easy summer living. Guest access Lockbox provides easy self-check in access. The cottage is just 50 feet from the water's edge with a small beach. A dock, elevated waterfront deck, fire pit, fire wood, lounging chairs, canoe, and picnic table are situated by the water. Backyard apple trees flower May-June and ripen with apples every August-September. Garden shed contains 4 bikes, 1 Weber charcoal BBQ, lifejackets, fishing rods, paddles, 2-3 sets of golf clubs, etc. for many hours of outdoor enjoyment. Other things to note The kitchen is well-stocked with staples such as herbs, spices, bbq rubs, tea, coffee, butter, olive oil, rice, maple syrup, sugar, flour, jams, condiments, etc. For everyone's convenience, staple food supplies are shared, and guests are asked to please replace any staple such as butter, sugar or oil as they are used up. Fire wood is stacked outside for a campfire or to heat the cottage during the shoulder seasons. All beds come with 100% cotton sheets, towels, duvet covers, wool, cotton and synthetic duvets and pillows. Extra linens and bedding for each bed are stored in the bedrooms. Guests are provided with fresh towels, linens and bedding. Laundering of all cottage linens, towels, cloth napkins, etc. is included in the cleaning fee.
