Enjoy a relaxing stay in an luxurious home with a backyard resembling a mini resort with a large infinity pool and stupendous panoramic views. The comfortable master suite includes a private balcony and private bathroom overlooking the canyon & saltwater lagoon below. The entrance is through the main door of the house. Located on the coast, the beach is 1.5 miles away and we are close to many of San Diego's top attraction. Guests should expect a stay in a warm family home, not a hotel room. The space We live in a large 5-bedroom house at the end of a cul-de-sac. Our house is located at the end of a high ridge overlooking the canyon/salt water lagoon below and ocean views in the distance. As the crow flies, we are 1.5 miles from the beach, however it is 3 miles to the beach by car/bike/foot. We are only a 10 min drive from Legoland, 20 min to SeaWorld and 30 min from downtown San Diego. This listing is for the master suite which is up 20 stairs with a queen bed, private bathroom with a large walk-in shower, TV, large desk and a private balcony overlooking the canyon and the salt water lagoon below. The Balcony is shaded and has festive lighting for the evenings. We have a marvelous oasis backyard with a large and deep infinity pool that pours into the toddler pool below. The pool is not heated and guests are welcome to use it at any time. There is also a large gas operated fire pit and seating area behind the baby pool, also available for guest use. We also have a large jacuzzi that can be used by the guests for $20 per hour to cover heating cost . The entire backyard is private and fenced off but there is no fencing around the pools. We also have many games on the property available for our guests to use including air hockey table, Foosball table, darts, Cornhole, Kubb and a workout area with free weights and an elliptical machine. Guest access The guests are welcome to use all the facilities in the back and side yard including the pools and BBQ area. You will have access to the main living area of the house as the access to the rooms are through the front door During your stay As we live in the house and you will be sharing our home and possibly other guests. We will always be available to offer you any help you may need throughout your stay. Our phone numbers will be provided to you in case you need to contact us for any reason. Other things to note As our two kids (16 & 14 years old) attend school, during weekdays from 6:30-7:30 am, some noise can be heard while they prepare for school. After that the house is completely silent until they return home at 3 pm. We are a busy family with children, thus expect everything that comes with a home with children. Our kids are considerate, polite and very social. We also have a small protective Chiuaua dog that we adopted from a shelter in Mexico. He will bark at you to let us know someone is coming through the door. However please refrain from touching him as he only allows people he knows to pet him.
