Elpida - breathtaking view

Elpida is a beautiful, quiet home with breathtaking panoramic views over Mochlos and beyond - all you hear is the sound of the sea. Many guests spend their time on the large terrace, chatting with their friends and family with food and wine. They enjoy the view, the tranquility, the ever changing colors and the magnificent starry sky. The space I designed the house and grounds to incorporate modern amenities into the simplicity, feel and spirit of nature. The solar panels provide all the electricity and hot water. The way the air flows through the property eliminates the need for air conditioning. In your welcome package, you can enjoy wine, cookies and local fruit, as well as 5 liters of the purest water that comes from the nearby spring. The house Elpida is architecturally designed to consist of two adjoining parts. A main living area (Elpida 3) with one bedroom (queen size bed), an eat-in kitchen, a bathroom (shower+toilet), a second separate toilet and a storage room. The second house (Elpida 2) has two bedrooms ( queen-size bed and two single beds) and a bathroom with shower and toilet. The first house can be rented for up to 2 persons and one child. If the group is larger, the second house can accommodate up to four more people. Hair dryer, towels, bed linen and beach towels are provided. In a few minutes you can reach the small bay for swimming, the port and Mochlos with its original taverns with traditional Cretan cuisine and fresh fish. The road to the property is paved except for the last 50 meters. The road is steep, but manageable with any car. I will be happy to meet you in Mochlos and show you the way.
