Relax and have a tranquil stay at the beautiful Acorn Cottage! Located on a quiet street within 5 minutes walking distance to the dam, Lawtonka Lake, multiple hiking trails, and the main street in Medicine Park with its bustling bars and restaurants, Acorn Cottage is perfectly located to give you a tranquil stay in Medicine Park whilst enabling you to enjoy all that the area has to offer! The space Each bedroom has a queen bed with medium and firm pillows for each guest, blackout blinds and curtains, and a clothes hanging rail and luggage storage rack. The bathroom features a striking walk-in shower with multiple shower heads, fluffy white towels, and toiletries are provided. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you might need to cook yourself a delicious meal which you can enjoy sitting at the modern kitchen island with comfortable seating for four guests. Pop on a record whilst you cook, and open up the large sliding glass doors to enjoy the sunset setting over the lake and Mount Scott! Guest access You will have access to the entire cottage and a pretty grass yard. Please note the yard is not fenced. There is a bench situated just outside the front door to the cottage and an outdoor table with seating for two at the front of the cottage so you can enjoy your morning cup of coffee outside overlooking Mount Scott! There is a large fenced patio area with a dining table and chairs that is perfect for evening meals under the stars of Medicine Park. The double drive outside the cottage has space for two trucks to park comfortably and there is free street parking. There are two steps leading up to the front door of the cottage, but for a step-free entrance, you can enter through the glass sliding door. Other things to note There are board games in the coffee table, and a SmartTV for you to enjoy! Fun Fact: Acorn Cottage is named after our rescue cat, Acorn! Acorn was only 6 days old when she was brought into the animal shelter in England where Annie was working. She wasn't expected to survive but Annie volunteered to hand rear her. Beating all the odds, Acorn survived, and has grown into a beautiful adventure cat who loves going on hikes (especially on the Lawtonka Lake trails!) and wearing her harness. She was even the legal witness to Annie and Braden's marriage in Colorado! Acorn is small but full of special character - and we hope you will feel our Acorn Cottage is the same!!
