The space Welcome to Ariège; The Picou vacation home is a cottage located in the Ariégeoises Pyrenees Regional Nature Park, in a mountain hamlet. A wedding, a family party, a weekend with friends, hiking, trail running, bike racing, mountain biking, snowshoeing... This cottage is adjoining the Souleilhou cottage (see my listings). Only the laundry/storage and parking areas are accessible from the outside to tenants of the 2 cottages. Minimum 2 nights, cleaning fee and linen supply included for all stays. Greenery, peace and quiet await you in this typical hamlet house completely renovated by us. You will enjoy mountain and forest walks, discovering the flora and fauna, board games, reading and relaxing. This place will recharge your batteries, you will enjoy these moments with family or friends. The Space: Located 800 m above sea level, come and discover our old house, typical of the hamlets of Haut Couserans. Its authentic stone facade has been preserved. 20 km from St Girons and 120 km from Toulouse Blagnac airport, with an area of 45 m2 with the sleeping area on the mezzanine, completely renovated, electric heating and pellet stove for better comfort. Very well insulated. We welcome you in summer and winter. All the amenities are new and you will find all the comforts you need for a pleasant stay. 1 bedroom (CH1 bed 160*200, 1 bed 90*200), 1 shower room with toilet, a dining/kitchen/living area, a private terrace at the back with garden furniture, table, parasol. In local shops and nearby open-air markets (Oust, Seix), you will discover local and quality products. Numerous walks and mountain sports activities. Guest access: Guests have access to the entire accommodation as well as the outdoor space. The laundry room and car park are shared with the neighboring accommodation. A private terrace to the accommodation is located at the back with garden furniture (table, chairs, deckchairs, umbrella and BBQ) The surrounding mountain is accessible to all while respecting herds and pastures. We also have outdoor games available (kubb, badminton, pétanque balls, etc.) In winter, provide snow equipment depending on the weather.
