The Stargazer tent is a unique, luxurious camping experience with exquisite views & privacy. Enjoy the sounds of nature while gazing at the stars. The campsite is on 40 acres of fields & woodland & is home to an active organic farm. The tent site abuts the Coxingkill creek. We provide cookware, stove, grill, bedding, towels & water for cooking & drinking. There’s a picnic table, benches, chairs & an outhouse. Rio & Toby have been super hosts for 6 years & we look forward to hosting you! The Stargazer tent is a luxurious space with a transparent ceiling enabling guests to look at the sky while in bed. There's a comfortable double bed inside. We also offer 2 extra single mattresses & bedding for additional guests inside the tent. We also offer an extra tent if desired. There is a designated wash station for hand & dish washing. We provide a 2 burner propane cook stove, an outdoor grill., charcoal, matches, dish soap & firewood for the fire pit. The campsite is lit with solar lights & there is also lighting within the Stargazer tent. We also offer kayaks for our guests to enjoy the Coxingkill creek. Guests are welcome to tour our organic permaculture vegetable gardens, "Clove Valley Community Farm". There is designated parking at the back of the property that leads to a winding lit path from parking to the tent site. We are on the property & are available to help guests with anything they may need to make their stay more enjoyable! Our property is in the Clove Vally in High Falls, NY. This is a rural neighborhood & our land is adjacent to the 11,000 acre Mohonk trust. We are close to numerous hiking trails & only 8 miles from New Paltz, NY. Parking is free, The tent site is at the back of a working farm in the woods, overlooking the creek. There is ample walking, hiking & we offer kayaks to our guests. If guests desire an extra tent there will be an added charge for the second tent. Please speak to us in advance about this option. Thanks
