Shady Pines
Shady Pines
Description
Your family can take it easy in our peaceful 2 bedroom home in the neighborhood of Mt Lebanon, just south of Pittsburgh. The home is all on one level. It is a short walk (.3 miles) from the main drag with coffee shops, restaurants, and more. That is also where you can catch the “T” to Station Square, downtown, the arena, stadium, and ballpark. We have a dog friendly home, however we need to know about your dog at the time of your booking. We look forward to hosting you! The space One bedroom has a queen sized bed. One bedroom has a full sized bed. In addition to that there is a daybed in the living room. It is made up as a couch. It can be slept in as a twin or opened into a queen size bed. There is also a twin air mattress in the closet. Guest access The entire main floor is yours when you stay at Shady Pines. The attic, basement, and garage are not accessible for privacy reasons. The garage might be accessed by owners for garbage day which is on Tuesdays. This means the owners might go into the garage on Monday nights in order to put the garbage cans out on the curb. Guests will also be notified that they can add garbage to them if they wish to. We will warn guests when we’re stopping by to take out the trash cans ahead of time. There is a slide lock on the door from the basement into kitchen for our guests’ sense of privacy. Other things to note The house has a driveway in which you can park two cars. The driveway is located on Cedar Blvd. This is where you should park over night. During the day you can park on the side street, Old Orchard Place. This is where the front door is and typically you can park at the end of the walkway to the front door. A lot of people park on the side street overnight, but there is always the risk you could get a ticket.
