Peace and quiet await! Whether you're wanting to work or rest, come enjoy 1100 sq ft indoors, plus outdoor areas for spreading out. Easily sleeps 4 (or 5 if someone takes the couch). Living space for visiting; 2 bedrooms, each with a desk and Q bed; bathroom has roll/walk-in shower; cook to your heart's content in the full kitchen. Eat at the bar, or enjoy outdoor sitting/eating area in screened porch; roast marshmallows in the firepit, or stargaze on the back patio. This is a ranch-style “dogrun” home, so the two halves of the house are independent. We are renting out the bottom floor of one half of the house, which includes two bedrooms, a large bathroom, a living room (no TV), and a large kitchen area with bar. 1100sf inside. Shared spaces include a screened-in downstairs area, back patio with firepit, and our expansive yard. If you are staying several days, we can arrange to run some laundry for you, since access to the washer and dryer is not included (hence “available in building” rather than “available in unit”). Some features of the house are ADA compliant (specifically built to accommodate walkers and some types of wheelchairs); please message if you would like more specifics. Parking for large vehicles or trailers can probably also be accommodated. Please message us to confirm before booking. We're on 23 acres but during rare rainy spells we wouldn't want to risk you getting stuck in the field but we do have options. Please just ask and we're happy to brainstorm with you for what might be convenient. You will have full access to everything associated with a single-family house. There are plenty of pans and dishes in the kitchen if you want to cook. A coffee pot and coffee/teas are provided, as well as space to store your own food. People have so many dietary constraints and requirements these days, I do not attempt to cook for guests. Someone will be here and available as needed. You might see us outside or popping into the kitchen to grab something from the cabinet. There are no other guests renting simultaneously. Quiet, rural area. You'll hear more farm animals in the distance than car horns. Vehicle required; no local sidewalks or buses; about 3.5 miles to nearest town. While we live in the country, we don’t have farm animals. We have friendly outdoor strays we've taken in of the cat and dog varieties. Previous renters have brought animals, so we cannot guarantee a pet-dander-free stay but we do serious cleaning. We do have lots of room outside, but also loads of stickers, so we're not sure whether to advertise for bringing pets; feel free to ask questions. We might be a great fit but aren't certain how to word a clear description here for all possibilities.
